This is the second time staying at the Clarence Court Hotel and I must say the stay was very pleasant. The staff were very friendly especially Anna serving our breakfast. The hotel is very nice we had the same room as last time which was good then and was again. Will definitely stay again if we go to Cheltenham again. Thanks for everything keep up the great work.

Lovely hotel, in a perfect location for the town...10 min walk. Used Hotel as a base to easily get to Cotswolds with places like Bourton in Water, Broadway and Chipping Campden, all pretty accessible. Hotel was clean and tidy, and our room very spacious. Breakfast was excellent with vast choices. Service was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely part of the world and would visit again

Waited outside in the car for an hour as car park was full and permit holders only allowed on the road so not a good start. At check out we were accused of going out for the evening and leaving our shower on flooding the room below! My husband met work colleagues but I was in the room from 6.30pm until breakfast and the show was definitely not on. They clearly didn’t believe us as they said a member of staff entered the room which the certainly did not. Someone got their facts wrong but they didn’t apologise even after finding out I was in the room all night!

Disappointed. Pictures make it look like there is a pool steam room and sauna at the premises. It even lists sauna and steam room and the main picture shows a lovely pool. In reality they give you a feee pass to a pool at a leisure club/boxing gym which is a 5 min walk away.

I understand that it’s difficult doing food but the food here was really bad. I was extremely tired so just lef**ost of it and went to bed.

We have family in Cheltenham, so frequently visit. There are plenty of branches of hotel chains, but they have a certain similarity? They also frequently are more expensive than the Clarence Court, which has great character and twenty rooms. Hence you receive individual, personal attention! Rooms are well appointed and scrupulously clean. Beds are comfortable and room furniture is complementary to the a**osphere of a Georgian residence. Breakfast is of high quality, with excellent locally sourced ingredients, but the menu is compact and traditional. Only change I would make in the room is to improve both reception and sound quality on the TVs. There is a small but adequate car park included in the room charge, complimentary!

Friendly staff, nice room and good location. However, the bathroom was a little small, and there were no plug sockets near the bed for charging devices close by. We would still stay there again as overall as it had parking and was close to the centre of town.

An amazing relaxing stay. Becky and her staff were wonderful she even invented a cocktail for us. Gareth the head chef gave us an amazing personal service. Great location just a little walk from Clarence Square you find the Brewery Quarter.
