The young lady at the front desk who received me today was very nice and loved to smile. She specifically asked her name, Xu Jie. She made her feel very cordial and responsive to all requests. She was not too troublesome at all. Next time I come to Chengde, I will stay at the Blue Horizon Hotel. It was very nice. A satisfying journey!

The location of the hotel is very suitable for wandering around. It is close to the Summer Resort (between Lizhengmen and Dehuimen). It is a courtyard style, with two entrances from the front and back, plus side rooms on both sides and several small houses similar to yurts. In the courtyard, begonias and other flowers and trees are in full bloom, with gray tiles and red walls, and the design is exquisite. There are tables and chairs in the courtyard in front of the room. If the weather is nice, you can drink tea or order takeout. It is very comfortable. Breakfast is served in the in-house kitchen restaurant, which is clean. There are not many varieties of food but the taste is comfortable. The kitchen lady is very enthusiastic (the bean buns made with self-made bean paste and the self-ground soy milk are both very good). It's great to come here during off-peak times. If you drive, navigate to the underground parking lot of the Mountain Resort (maximum charge is RMB 50 per day). You can park your car in Area C. There is a staircase for pedestrians to go up and down, which is closest to the B&B (100 meters).

Pros: - Helpful, responsive and friendly staff. - Delicious restaurant ! Love their food. - There are McD and BK nearby if you want to have fast food during the trip. Cons: - There was a gecko coming out from the tent in our parent child room. It went under the bed and we couldn't find it. The first night, I couldn't sleep because of afraid it would come to us. When we searched the gecko, we saw plastic and bottle under the bed. I guess they don't clean the room properly. Conclusion : Overall this hotel is good for us during our Chengde trip. We're happy.

It's the first time to come to Chengde, super praise! The hotel is very new and very clean. Every room is smart in the whole house. It is really close to the Mountain Resort, and the price is very affordable, but the accommodation consumption is less than 300. Free parking is not given. You need to pay for your own parking.
