"I stayed at the Puning Hotel for two nights and three days, and it was an amazing value. The hotel has a traditional Chinese garden style, making you feel like you've stepped into a secluded paradise. On the rooftop, I enjoyed coffee, a gentle breeze, mountain views, and the sight of the Chan Temple – a perfect blend of classical and modern. Traveling solo, I visited museums, paid respects at the Chan Temple, explored the local market, and even fed the hotel's pet deer. It was a beautiful way to enjoy some leisure time away from my busy work life. The front desk, room service, and dining staff were all excellent, and the owner was very kind. "Absolutely thrilled! The courtyard room offers incredible value for money. The hotel is super comfortable and clean, with a unique garden landscape. The staff and guests are all very friendly and pleasant. The eight little cats at the hotel are incredibly cute! And there are deer too! There are many fruit trees, and guests can pick and taste the fruit. We had some small cherries, and the staff said the apricots would be ripe in about ten days. There are only two things that could be improved: I smelled someone smoking indoors, so please enhance patrols; and the peacock cage is too small, which isn't great for the animals. I'll definitely be back and will highly recommend it to my friends. A truly wonderful trip to Chengde!"

"承德皇家园林希尔顿欢朋酒店 We stayed for 2 nights. It located from railway station for 15-mins walk. The hotel was new & everywhere was clean & tidy. Hot showering water was ready all the time. The best things were their breakfast where staff Ms 崔& the site officer were very caring & active serve every guest, eg. offer sweeten fungus dessert to help our thorat comfort etc, . The diversity & taste of breakfast was far beyond expectation. Self laundry was good as it did. The worst thing was smoking smell often caught our nose inside lift even prohibition notice posted up! I would come again next time without second thought."

"The hotel is very close to the Summer Palace, which is super convenient and within walking distance. It's clean and tidy, and the service is warm and friendly. They proactively offered us water and genuinely asked for our feedback. The breakfast was plentiful, and both the lamb soup and soy milk were great."

"The room we were given was amazing, it had a great view, the beds were comfy, and had a nice spot to sit and eat breakfast each day. Speaking of, getting deliveries from ******* straight to our room was also really easy.  They also had really great service. When we first arrived we found the bedroom floor to be a little sticky, so we asked if they wouldn’t mind mopping it. That was done immediately, and we enjoyed the rest of our stay :) everything else was super clea"

"The lobby's design is simple and airy, with light gray marble floors reflecting the soft glow of crystal chandeliers, as if crushed moonlight were spread beneath your feet. The front desk attendant, with a warm smile, handed me the room card, her fingertips carrying a subtle warmth. ”Your room is on a high floor, with a city night view from the window. Shall I have your luggage sent up for you?” Before she even finished speaking, a bellhop nearby had already gracefully taken my suitcase, his movements so gentle as if not to disturb the tranquility in the air. The moment the elevator doors closed, soothing piano music filled my ears; the rise and fall of the keys made even waiting a delightful experience."

"Traveling from Beijing to Chengde by car, I chose the Hilton Garden Inn on the platform. I've always trusted the brand's quality and service, and this time was no disappointment! 👍 The rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn are spacious, with views of Chengde's 'Mother River,' the Wulie River, outside the window (P2). In the lobby, there's a self-service fresh coffee machine, drinks, and snacks (P6). The hotel's breakfast buffet is also very rich (P7) ☕🍰. The service at Hilton Garden Inn is excellent. The front desk staff and housekeepers greet you with smiles and are always ready to answer any questions, making you feel right at home! 😄 Tips: The Hilton Garden Inn is located in the core scenic area of Chengde, 4 kilometers from the Chengde Summer Resort and 9 kilometers from the Puning Temple (Little Potala Palace). It's very convenient to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn if you're traveling by car. 🚘👍"

"酒店位於武烈河畔，區政府附近，還有免費停車場。觀景房窗外，遠處青山綠水，近處車水馬龍，自然風物與人間煙火就隔了一條武烈河。沿着河邊溜達的時候，還在河對岸拍了一張酒店的照片。 設施：比較新。 衞生：挺乾淨。 環境：晚上安靜。 服務：前台一流。"

"Came to Chengde for a visit in between catching a basketball game in Beijing. Saw great reviews for Zhaofeng International on Trip.com, and it didn't disappoint! The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable, with a clean and well-maintained bathroom that had a separate shower and toilet. My only minor complaint was that the shower water temperature tended to fluctuate. The breakfast area was huge, and the food was varied and tasty. It was easy to get a taxi from the hotel to various attractions. A slight bummer was getting soaked in a downpour when I went to the Summer Resort, but overall, it was a really good experience! 💟"

"The room was clean and tidy, and the price was very affordable. The big bed was comfortable to sleep in, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also good. It's very close to the Mountain Resort, just a few minutes' walk away, and there's free parking available. I highly recommend this hotel, it's the top choice when visiting the Mountain Resort."
