GGuest UserThe room is quite big, the bed is also big, the bedding is very good, the pillows and quilts are very new, and the quality is first-class. It is a bedding that can have a good sleep.
The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and it is also quite large. The disadvantage is that although the bathroom has a partition, there is no door. It is a bit awkward for two people to live in and the other person to go to the toilet.
It would be better if there was another table or counter in the room. There is no place to put the water cup, and the water can only be boiled in the bathroom, which is not very good. In addition, there is no drinking cup provided.
The shower head is not very useful, and the water flow is not very large.
The breakfast is average, only millet porridge (no soy milk, milk, coffee), with some small flower rolls, small buns, etc.
The homestay has lunch, dinner, etc., and you can order. The taste is OK, but the price is expensive. Example: A bowl of ordinary steamed rice costs 5 yuan, and no bowls and plates are provided. You must buy simple bowls and chopsticks for dining, and a set of single charges costs 2 yuan (a bowl of rice is higher than that of a five-star hotel).
At night, the lights outside the courtyard are on for a long time. The curtains on one side of the room are simple and do not block the light. Figure 1 shows the translucent curtain.

GGuest UserThis was the last stop on my road trip back to Beijing from Inner Mongolia. I stumbled upon this hotel on Ctrip the night before. It was very American-style, with a complimentary horse-riding service for the children. We also had a boat trip on the grass sea where we happened to see the sunset, which was truly beautiful. The hostess was very welcoming, and the food in the hotel's own restaurant was also very good. Since I ate too much meat in Inner Mongolia, I didn't try the grilled lamb chops here. I'll definitely try it next time I have the chance.

QQianqianxiyuI recently visited the Chengde Mountain Resort and stayed at the Guanrong Holiday Hotel. The experience was fantastic, and I had to share my thoughts.
Location and Transportation: The hotel is perfectly situated, right next to the Mountain Resort and not far from Erxianju Commercial Street. It's very convenient for exploring the Mountain Resort, dining, and shopping on the commercial street. Taxis and driving are both convenient. Parking is available, but there are currently no charging stations.
Hotel Facilities: The bedding was soft and comfortable, with the mattress and pillows having the perfect firmness, allowing for a good night's sleep. There is a public restroom on the first floor.
The breakfast selection was quite good, with basic fare like bread, fried dough sticks, coffee, milk, and soy milk, as well as some simple stir-fries and fried rice, which basically satisfied my breakfast needs.
Service: I received a free room upgrade, and the hotel staff were warm and friendly. From check-in to check-out, their professionalism and attentiveness were evident in every aspect. The front desk staff handled the process quickly and efficiently, and they also proactively provided information about nearby tourist attractions and transportation.
Overall, this is a highly recommended hotel. If you're visiting the Chengde Mountain Resort, this is a great choice.

GGuest UserThe location is better, next to the half tiger line, it is very convenient to Bailitian Road and Yunzhong Grassland. Especially you can drive a few minutes towards the Yunzhong Grassland, you can find a mountain bag that is convenient to climb, and you can watch the sunrise and sunset.
The room is relatively clean and you can see the mountain view. Now the outdoor temperature difference is large, but the room has sufficient heating and hot water.
Parking is also convenient for eating, and the service attitude is good!

The owner, a kind uncle, was wonderful. He even gave me two glasses of his homemade aged liquor during dinner, which was incredibly mellow and delicious – thank you! He mentioned that after some guests last year commented on outdated facilities, they invested heavily in a full renovation, and asked me to be sure to pass that on to the review section, hahaha.
Here's my genuine stay experience:
I was initially worried about the road, but it was paved all the way, and we drove directly from the highway to the guesthouse, so the location is excellent.
The room had an amazing view. During the day, you could see the courtyard and mountains, and in the evening, the sunset glow, with village smoke rising – it was incredibly picturesque!
We hiked around the village, passing streams, farmlands, and sheep. Strolling leisurely to the wellhead, I felt completely refreshed. Both old and young would have a great time here.
Food and service were also completely on point. Portions were generous, and the food tasted great, with thoughtfulness evident in every detail.
Escaping the city's hustle and bustle and spending a couple of days here felt like being completely recharged. It was so comfortable! Absolutely great value for money.

It rained one day, and the service staff cleaned the room and replaced supplies on time despite the rain. The hotel management can consider the guests. Even after it rained all day, they still used the short rain break to carry out performances and bonfire activities for tourists in the evening. The actors still worked hard to complete the performance despite the wet ground, low temperature and the size of the audience. , touching. One detail is that in this weather condition, the hotel owner (I think his surname is Bao, I can’t remember clearly) has been accompanying the performers at the venue. It can be seen that the management is very attentive. There are also shortcomings. There are few types of breakfast. I hope it can be improved. All in all, this experience was quite satisfactory. The child said that she felt a sense of romance and reluctance. Unfortunately, it was cloudy during the two nights we stayed☁️, and we didn’t see the Milky Way, which made the baby feel the feeling of regret and expectation. GGary Ong Wei KiatAbsolutely loving this place! The vibes is totally awesome and a nice place to chill with lots of activities to do, though unfortunately we only had one night here as we only planned to hike Jin Shan Ling, but we will definitely be back for more next round!
Service and hospitality is top notch and absolutely grateful to have such a nice bunch of staff who were super friendly and warm. The hotel was near Jin Shan Ling (about 5 mins drive) and they even offered to drive and pick us to and fro the hotel and Jin Shan Ling. Within the hotel, they were concerned with us feeling cold so they ferried us to our room as our room was a few mins walk away, and fetched us from our room to the lobby when we wanted to hang out at their chill areas there which turned out to be really relaxing.
They served super sumptuous meals including a hot pot set which was great for winter and even offered us complimentary dishes as part of winter solstice.
One of the staff named Henry Zhang gave us a tour at their exhibition centre showing the various scenic areas in 四季山, 金山岭 and 北京城! We enjoyed the experience sharing from him and the explanation to the various attraction sites, appreciate the sweet gesture as he didn’t actually had to do that but he did so!
Room was absolutely great and spacious, extremely clean and comfortable with heaters inside the restrooms which was super nice. It was a good night rest for us.
Breakfast was their local dishes which was great too and super filling (buns, eggs, porridge, dough sticks, specialty cold dishes).
All in all, we had no complains from the time we checked in, super loved the experience and it definitely make us want to book another trip here again soon!

FFeichangguolianParking is free, and the security guards are enthusiastic about arranging parking spaces. The service is very satisfactory! When changing rooms, valuables were forgotten on the quilt.
