3-Star Hotels in Chengde

Perhaps because Chengde isn't expensive, this brand of hotel offers great value for its price. The hotel isn't on the main street; it's located in a building a dozen meters away, which is nice and quiet. ① The rooms are spacious and clean. The facilities are also quite new. ② The location is good, only 500 meters away. I dined at the popular Xin Qianlong restaurant nearby both nights. ③ There are also many other restaurants and cafes on the street near the entrance.

It was a hasty decision, but it was a pleasant surprise! Unlike many B&Bs and camping options, this is a hidden gem nestled in a valley, offering a sense of privacy. The entire site seamlessly blends in with the surrounding nature, creating a seamless experience. Speaking of which, a beachfront hotel has a private beach, and here, there's even a private forest! Enjoy the mountain freely, and both adults and children can find their own unique adventure! In just a few days, we enjoyed the convenience of climbing the mountain with our eyes open or closed. And there's a truly amazing barista! The accommodations were also very comfortable and clean! It was a great place to bring our kids! Looking forward to the early completion of the private hot spring courtyard!

The room was spacious and comfortable, fully equipped, and clean. The receptionist was very attentive and helpful. There are several delicious barbecue and hot pot restaurants nearby; although small, the food is great! Parking is convenient; a beautiful river is just a 200-meter walk from the parking lot. Perfect for a relaxing walk!

Their service was exceptional; they actively helped me find a parking spot and coordinated the charging station late at night. I'd definitely come back to Vienna Hotel Chengde Mountain Resort if I get the chance.

Originally, this hotel was not my first choice, but I clicked to see the hotel environment taken by netizens, and I lived here immediately! When I arrived at the hotel, the beauty in the photo appeared in front of me. I took advantage of the sunset and drove the car near the lake of Yanming and took some photos with the grass lake. The soundproofing in the rooms is really bad; most people bring children, and the children's noise is very clear. 4. The hot tub water in the room is okay, but safety measures need to be improved, especially the anti-slip features.

I also live in a European-style manor! At work, there are always crowds of people every day, but here, every room is really independent, so it is much cleaner. The manor was much cleaner and larger than expected, and it took an hour to walk around. I thought that such a large manor would be messy, but I didn't expect that the aunts here would clean it every day and the grass would be freshly mowed. I originally wanted to book Wuzui, but the room was fully booked. I went over to check it out and sure enough I still wanted to stay in Wuzui! Has its own small yard, tables and chairs! Hope to stay there next time!

The hotel's location is pretty good, and the surroundings are very quiet. It's only about a 19-minute drive to Jinshanling Great Wall. However, the Jinshanling exit on the G45 Beijing-Chengde Expressway is closed, so you have to take a detour. When there are fewer guests, breakfast is served individually with generous portions. When it's busy, they open a buffet with a wider variety of options. The room was spacious, great for families. But there were a lot of ladybugs (or 'stink bugs' as some call them) that somehow got into the room; we had to clear them out as soon as we checked in. The bathroom drain was clogged, so the facilities definitely need some maintenance. It's probably okay for a 1-2 night stay.

This stay at the Holiday Inn Express exceeded my expectations. Before coming to Chengde, I did a lot of research, and my previous experiences at Holiday Inn Express hotels elsewhere had them feeling quite old. So, I was a bit hesitant when booking this one, but it turned out to be surprisingly good! The hotel has been recently renovated, so the facilities are very new, everything is clean, and the service is attentive. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get everywhere, and there are all sorts of restaurants, big and small, nearby, so dining is a breeze.
