GGuest UserOur stay at Shanhai Premium Guesthouse was an incredibly peaceful and rejuvenating experience! The mountain surroundings were absolutely breathtaking, with fresh crisp air that immediately washed away all our city stress. The room was cozy and well-designed, featuring traditional Chinese elements blended with modern amenities. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests. The location was perfect for exploring the Wuling Mountain area, and we loved waking up to the sound of birds and seeing the misty mountain views every morning. The hiking trails nearby were well-maintained and offered stunning views of the landscape. Although it was a bit remote, that was exactly what we were looking for - a true escape from urban life. The local breakfast was delicious and featured fresh, organic ingredients from the area. We particularly enjoyed the evening stargazing, as the night sky was crystal clear away from city lights. This place is absolutely perfect for couples seeking a romantic getaway or anyone looking to reconnect with nature. We would definitely recommend this hidden gem to all our friends and family, and we plan to return again in the different seasons to experience the changing beauty of the mountains. CCocodaiTraveling with both the elderly and young kids, we made a spur-of-the-moment decision to get away for the weekend. I had already set my sights on this hotel, and the drive here was smooth. The hotel grounds are lovely, very peaceful and comfortable. No TV is actually a genius move, really good! It really helped my family focus on relaxation and the outdoors.
The kids absolutely loved the private hot spring. They were a bit disappointed they couldn't go into the public one, so for 468 for 2 hours, we booked a private one for them to enjoy. It was fantastic, especially the little milk bath – so refreshing and cool.

QQianqianxiyuI recently visited the Chengde Mountain Resort and stayed at the Guanrong Holiday Hotel. The experience was fantastic, and I had to share my thoughts.
Location and Transportation: The hotel is perfectly situated, right next to the Mountain Resort and not far from Erxianju Commercial Street. It's very convenient for exploring the Mountain Resort, dining, and shopping on the commercial street. Taxis and driving are both convenient. Parking is available, but there are currently no charging stations.
Hotel Facilities: The bedding was soft and comfortable, with the mattress and pillows having the perfect firmness, allowing for a good night's sleep. There is a public restroom on the first floor.
The breakfast selection was quite good, with basic fare like bread, fried dough sticks, coffee, milk, and soy milk, as well as some simple stir-fries and fried rice, which basically satisfied my breakfast needs.
Service: I received a free room upgrade, and the hotel staff were warm and friendly. From check-in to check-out, their professionalism and attentiveness were evident in every aspect. The front desk staff handled the process quickly and efficiently, and they also proactively provided information about nearby tourist attractions and transportation.
Overall, this is a highly recommended hotel. If you're visiting the Chengde Mountain Resort, this is a great choice.

GGuest UserAfter entering the city, we walked a little further and found a very quiet courtyard! We booked a room with a small balcony. It was very clean! There's an infinity pool on the third floor; next time we come in the summer, we'd book a room on the third floor—it's very convenient for the kids to play in the water!
The beautiful owner and her family were very welcoming. They helped us with our luggage upstairs when we got out of the car. The owner's house is in front of the door. That's where the photos are taken. The courtyard is also very photogenic at night!
When we arrived, the owner brought us afternoon tea, which was homemade and delicious!
The breakfast was also plentiful, all freshly made! The kids ate well too!

It rained one day, and the service staff cleaned the room and replaced supplies on time despite the rain. The hotel management can consider the guests. Even after it rained all day, they still used the short rain break to carry out performances and bonfire activities for tourists in the evening. The actors still worked hard to complete the performance despite the wet ground, low temperature and the size of the audience. , touching. One detail is that in this weather condition, the hotel owner (I think his surname is Bao, I can’t remember clearly) has been accompanying the performers at the venue. It can be seen that the management is very attentive. There are also shortcomings. There are few types of breakfast. I hope it can be improved. All in all, this experience was quite satisfactory. The child said that she felt a sense of romance and reluctance. Unfortunately, it was cloudy during the two nights we stayed☁️, and we didn’t see the Milky Way, which made the baby feel the feeling of regret and expectation. Will come again if I have the chance...

The hygiene is particularly good, the room is spotless, the bedding is clean and soft, and the living is very comfortable. In terms of environment, the location is convenient, close to the place of work, the surrounding area is not noisy, and the rest is good. The service is even more intimate, the front desk is super fast, and the response to any needs is timely. Although the facilities are not particularly luxurious, they are complete and new, especially the bed and pillows, and a sleep eliminates the fatigue of the day. GGuest UserThe location is fantastic! It's right across from Jinlong Plaza, which was super convenient for dining and shopping. Plus, it's very close to the Summer Resort. However, the room itself was definitely nothing special. The bathroom had a strong drain smell, and the room felt quite damp. On the bright side, the front desk service was excellent. During my 3-night stay, I managed to visit the Summer Resort, the museum, Mini Potala Palace, Hammer Peak, and Jinshanling Great Wall. Overall, despite the room issues, I had a very good experience.
