The next morning, I went to the second floor for the buffet breakfast. The selection was diverse, a great mix of Chinese and Western options, and the flavors were rich. I was thoroughly satisfied with both the food and drinks!

The hotel is located in a relatively bustling area, making shopping very convenient. The parking lot gets busy on weekends, but there's still always a spot for hotel guests. We arrived at noon and had Chengde cuisine on the fourth floor, which was very authentic, tasty, and reasonably priced. The hotel staff were friendly, and the rooms had a separate wet and dry area, were clean, hygienic, and well-equipped. The breakfast spread was extensive, and they refilled dishes quickly. My family found it very comfortable and were all very satisfied.

The views are fantastic! On the day of departure, the front desk even sent a text message with directions for driving there, which was incredibly thoughtful and considerate. It took about two hours to drive from Beijing to the hotel. We pre-registered our car and were able to park it in the parking lot. They even have fast-charging stations. We also pre-booked the public hot spring and enjoyed the Eye Stone hot spring. The breakfast quality was also excellent. I highly recommend coming here for the experience!

The room type I stayed in was quite spacious, including the bathroom, and came with a king-size bed and floor-to-ceiling windows. The room was bright and airy. From the window, I could enjoy the night view of Chengde, and during the day, a river view. They provided complimentary welcome snacks and hot spring tickets. The staff were always smiling and very courteous. Every time I visit Chengde, I choose to stay at this hotel. The hotpot set menu at the 2nd-floor restaurant is also a highlight; the portions of meat, vegetables, fish, and shrimp were generous, and the service was excellent.

I chose this hotel for my trip, and my overall experience exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and well-ventilated, and the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, making for a very relaxing sleep. The entire room was meticulously cleaned, and the wash area was dry and odor-free. The front desk staff handled check-in efficiently, and they were patient in answering my questions. It's very convenient for dining and getting around, making for a very pleasant stay. I highly recommend it.

The hotel is excellent! The rooms are clean and tidy. Xiao Liang and Xiao Han at the front desk were incredibly warm and patient. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit the Chengde Mountain Resort!

The trip to the Colorful Forest is perfect. 1. There are various sightseeing cars, carriages, camel riding, horse riding, and lakeside trains available in the Colorful Forest Scenic Area. If you are tired, take a car, and if you are not tired, hike. If you are hiking, the wooden plank road is also gentle, with basically no steep slopes, which is suitable for traveling with the elderly and children. 2. The scenic area costs 7 yuan for grilled sausages, 10 yuan for ice cream (a large cup), and 15 yuan for carrots for feeding deer (a large bag), which are friendly prices. 3. The scenic area is picturesque, and it is very filmy to take photos and check in. There are also various performances, which are very beautiful. 4. The service at the Squirrel Inn is very good. We arrived late and did not check in in time. At 7:30 in the evening, the front desk called to remind us that the bonfire party would start soon. 5. The bonfire party was so high, and there was a fireworks show. The scenic area was attentive. Disadvantages: Can a shelf be added to the bathroom and washroom? It is too inconvenient. Except for the bathroom, other aspects are perfect, a perfect parent-child trip. Come again next time.

First off, they have their own parking lot with EV charging stations, which is super convenient for electric car owners. The room itself was great – the bedding was clean and comfortable. They even helped me bring my luggage to the room. Breakfast offered a wide variety, and the freshly made wontons and noodles were a highlight. The hotel's location is fantastic, very close to the scenic area. It was so nice to be able to pop back to the hotel for a rest when I got tired from walking around in the crowds. I'd definitely stay here again if I get the chance.

I also sent a souvenir when I left the store. The front desk took the initiative to ask if I needed mineral water? 6 bottles of water in the room, enough! In short, the service is very good 👍

Location is unbeatable!! The hotel is right before the entrance gate to the Jinshanling Great Wall cable car station and trail heads. You can actually hike up to good view points on the Great Wall injust 30-40 minutes. The hotel is in good condition. The room is mostly clean and well maintained. The AC works well. Toilet has a weird smell but didn't bother me that much. Wish they provided conditioner (only shampoo and shower gel were in the bathroom). Restaurant has many options for Chinese dishes and so is the buffet breakfast. If I come back, definitely book it again for the excellent location.
