"承德皇家园林希尔顿欢朋酒店 We stayed for 2 nights. It located from railway station for 15-mins walk. The hotel was new & everywhere was clean & tidy. Hot showering water was ready all the time. The best things were their breakfast where staff Ms 崔& the site officer were very caring & active serve every guest, eg. offer sweeten fungus dessert to help our thorat comfort etc, . The diversity & taste of breakfast was far beyond expectation. Self laundry was good as it did. The worst thing was smoking smell often caught our nose inside lift even prohibition notice posted up! I would come again next time without second thought."

"Booked this hotel for the National Day holiday. The hotel room is very large, very close to the high-speed rail station, and the front desk staff on duty is very considerate. Hot water was provided when it was cold, and they helped to store my luggage after I checked out, but a deposit was required for accommodation."

"The room was spacious, with excellent views and plenty of windows, offering a pleasant view. The facilities were a bit dated, but they worked perfectly. The round outlet on the bedside table was very practical and a nice touch. The toilet paper was awkwardly placed next to the toilet, making it difficult to reach. Elderly people with frozen shoulder would find it very difficult to reach. We recommend this improvement. The breakfast variety and quality were acceptable, but the dining room carpet was worn, and the odor was a bit unpleasant."

"Brilliant location for visiting the Chengde Mountain Resort. The hotel is located just on the other side of the wall of the park and is at a quiet corner 200m from the entrance. Very convenient for an early start to avoid the crowds. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff at hotel. Room is good size and spotlessly clean. Many good local eateries within a short walking distance for excellent food at very reasonable prices"

"I chose this hotel for my business trip. It's located right in the city center of Chengde, with plenty of dining options nearby. I could even walk to the Summer Resort, which was convenient. The hotel itself is quite new, and the room facilities are good, making for a comfortable stay. The only downside was that the water pressure in the shower wasn't very consistent. Overall, it's a hotel with great value for money."

"This stay at the Holiday Inn Express exceeded my expectations. Before coming to Chengde, I did a lot of research, and my previous experiences at Holiday Inn Express hotels elsewhere had them feeling quite old. So, I was a bit hesitant when booking this one, but it turned out to be surprisingly good! The hotel has been recently renovated, so the facilities are very new, everything is clean, and the service is attentive. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get everywhere, and there are all sorts of restaurants, big and small, nearby, so dining is a breeze."
