The mountain surroundings were absolutely breathtaking, with fresh crisp air that immediately washed away all our city stress. The room was cozy and well-designed, featuring traditional Chinese elements blended with modern amenities. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests. The location was perfect for exploring the Wuling Mountain area, and we loved waking up to the sound of birds and seeing the misty mountain views every morning. The hiking trails nearby were well-maintained and offered stunning views of the landscape. Although it was a bit remote, that was exactly what we were looking for - a true escape from urban life. The local breakfast was delicious and featured fresh, organic ingredients from the area. We particularly enjoyed the evening stargazing, as the night sky was crystal clear away from city lights. This place is absolutely perfect for couples seeking a romantic getaway or anyone looking to reconnect with nature. We would definitely recommend this hidden gem to all our friends and family, and we plan to return again in the different seasons to experience the changing beauty of the mountains. CChelseaBIncredibly nice spot with such sweet owners! They took the time to sit down with me and discuss how to tackle Huangshan in the two days I would spend there. They also sell some prepackaged foods incase you still need some snacks for on the mountain. Also the view from this place is incredible. Room are also good.
Their dog is super sweet! (It stays outside of the hotel, so do not worry about it if you are not a dog person).
I would stay here again❤️

RRudmer WigleI had an excellent stay at this guest house. The family that runs it is very friendly and very helpful. Not a lot of English is spoken, but don't let that deter you, it's a very welcome place and they'll take care of your needs. They can provide a lot of info on visiting the Wall and the location is just a hundred meters from the entry gate to the Jinshanling Wall. Even though it's still a few 100 meters walking after that, this is the closest you can stay in case you want to get on the wall for sunrise. Dinner was very tasty. I would definitely come back!

GGuest User1. Excellent location: located in the core of the county, close to Xingzhou Square, there are supermarkets and KFC downstairs, convenient for dining and shopping; free parking by car, bus can reach all parts of the city.
2. Hygiene and facilities: the room is clean and odorless, the bedding is comfortable; the bathroom is mostly dry and wet separation, hot water is stable; free buffet breakfast (porridge, buns, side dishes, etc., the category is enough).
3. Intimate service: the front desk is fast, the attitude is warm, there are often details such as active upgrades of room types, small gifts from the store; supporting convenience services such as self-service laundry.

GGuest UserThe room is very clean and new, no smell. All disposable towels and bath towels are provided, which is very good. The only drawback is that the sound insulation is relatively poor. In addition, maybe because the floor is low, the flushing water upstairs seems to make a loud splash in the toilet at night, which is a bit not good. It is recommended to have some clothes hooks in the toilet so that you can put a change of clothes when taking a shower. The overall experience is good and good reviews.

RROSSITOURSThe hotel is located at the entrance to the Jianshanling Scenic Area (a 20-minute walk to the entrance, where you can begin climbing the wall).
To get there, we opted for a train from Beijingbei to Gubeikou and then arranged a transfer with the host.
The host was very kind and welcoming, even offering us a free upgrade.
The hotel is clean and welcoming, with a restaurant on the ground floor, convenient since there's nothing nearby. The food was good and reasonably priced.

GGuest UserThis place was the best after our long walk along the Great Wall. We started in Gubekiou and walked the wall until Jinshanling. The farmhouse was only about a 20 min walk from the entrance of the Great Wall which we were happy about. As soon as we walked up the owner ran up and welcomed us and showed us to our rooms. Each of our rooms had two small beds and a bathroom w a shower. Great value for your money. The family running it fed us delicious food for breakfast and dinner, were so welcoming and even helped us plan our next day hike. Would stay here again!

GGuest UserI chose this hotel for a business trip and the experience exceeded expectations! The hygiene is particularly good, the room is spotless, the bedding is clean and soft, and the living is very comfortable. In terms of environment, the location is convenient, close to the place of work, the surrounding area is not noisy, and the rest is good. The service is even more intimate, the front desk is super fast, and the response to any needs is timely. Although the facilities are not particularly luxurious, they are complete and new, especially the bed and pillows, and a sleep eliminates the fatigue of the day. The overall cost-effective, I will choose here next time, and I will give my business friends a good Amway~

Uun_guillouVery friendly youth hostel in the center of Chengde. The location is excellent and you can do almost anything by feet. The bar is a nice touch as they have good beers and I was able to play dice with other guests. The atmosphere was nice and evrybody left before I went to bed at midnight. The staff is great and helpful as they allowed me to change room in order to flee a very rude guest that would listen to videos on his phone without earphones very loudly. I also was able to do my laundry for a cheap price but they could invest in more hangers.
