1. Location: Quiet Taoyuan in the depths of ancient rhyme
The location of the homestay is excellent. It is not isolated from the scenic spot, nor trapped in the noisy market, but cleverly hidden in a quiet alley in the ancient city of Datong. It takes only a few minutes to walk to the core attractions such as Huayan Temple and Shanhua Temple. In the evening, you can integrate into the magnificent night view of the ancient city wall. However, when you turn into the alley, the noise is instantly isolated, and the ideal residence of ”out is bustling, in is quiet” is truly realized.
2. Environment: Poetic picture volumes blending ancient and modern
The name ”Baili see the mountains” is full of painting. The homestay is transformed from a traditional Jinbei courtyard, which perfectly retains the simple structure of blue bricks and gray tiles and wooden windows. The courtyard design is very ingenious, with the Zen-like whiteness of the dead landscape and the lush pine cypress. The most moving thing is that in front of the courtyard or the window of the guest room, you can really ”see the mountains” look at the outline of the ancient city wall. The old and new space and time meet here, every place is a scenery, every eye can be fixed.
Features: Deep infiltration of local culture
Space aesthetics: The interior decoration combines modern minimalist comfort with the rustic bones of Jinbei houses. The old house beams, old door panels and modern bathrooms and floor heating coexist in harmony, and the living is extremely comfortable.
· Cultural experience: The hotel has a tea space, a book bar, and even an intangible hand-made experience from time to time. I like to make a pot of local yellow tea in the sunny tea room in the afternoon, look at the historical atlas of Datong, and feel the culture slowly flowing in my leisure time.

From the intimate itinerary reminder after the reservation is confirmed, to the warm welcome of the housekeeper on arrival, every link makes people feel warm. In short, ”Paoli see the mountain” is far more than a night's accommodation, it is the best memory anchor of our trip to Datong. It uses a courtyard to absorb the weight and tranquility of the millennium ancient city, and uses the meticulous warm service to let travelers from far away find the habitat of the soul. If you come to Datong again, you will still choose here without hesitation.

GGuest UserLocated right in the heart of the ancient city, this hotel is a tranquil retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The room was spotless and exceptionally well-appointed, featuring premium toiletries, an electric toothbrush, a Dyson hairdryer, and even a smart toilet. The entire courtyard is incredibly charming, offering a true taste of traditional Shanxi architecture. Breakfast in the courtyard was a highlight, and even when it poured rain on the second morning, we enjoyed a unique experience having breakfast under an umbrella. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and approachable; we could even communicate with them easily via WeChat.
My only minor point of feedback is that the duvet felt a bit too thick for summer; we were still quite warm and sweating even with the air conditioning on. However, this might just be a personal preference. Overall, this place is absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Datong who's looking for a unique and memorable accommodation experience.

2205853****I highly recommend the Datong Hotel VIP Building. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the service is professional, and its location is convenient for getting around. We booked an Executive View Room, which offered stunning night views of the ancient city. The front desk staff also kindly helped us arrange transportation for our outings, which we truly appreciated.
Initially, we were hesitant to book this hotel due to some negative reviews on Ctrip. However, on our second night, we decided to give it a try, reasoning that it's an established and trustworthy brand. We were absolutely delighted with our stay after checking in!
There were a few minor shortcomings, which I already discussed with the front desk during check-out. I hope the VIP Building continues to improve!
I look forward to my next stay.

They offered a deeper insight into Datong's rich culture, landscape, customs, cuisine, and beautiful sights, truly enriching my experience after exploring the city. CCaihuaxiaomeiLet me talk about the pros. The breakfast was quite plentiful and tasty, 68 yuan per person. Our child, being 15, paid an extra 40 yuan. We booked three rooms together. The rooms were decent for a five-star hotel, and the lobby was beautiful. Now for areas for improvement. Aside from the good security guard at the entrance, the service could be better. Since it's a hot spring hotel, the hot spring itself is important, but it was rather mediocre. Of the 12 pools, some were 58 degrees Celsius, some 48 degrees, and only a few were usable and small. Also, because so many people were crammed into a few pools, they became quite dirty. All three families stayed for an hour before leaving. There were too many access control points. For a hotel in such a remote area, I don't understand why there were so many access control points and card swiping systems; it was very inconvenient. I didn't intend to give a low score because the front desk gave us a complimentary breakfast, which was a concession.

JJiushinagexiayuheIt is really good to choose this hotel with friends in Datong for the New Year's Eve. The customer service attitude is very good. There is also a buffet breakfast. You can take a bath and be particularly comfortable. The most worth mentioning is that the hotel is really big at fifty-five square meters, and there is a big TV to watch dramas and movies. The floor-to-ceiling windows can see the street view. I really recommend gatherings and accommodations among friends.
