Room facilities: The two bedrooms and one living room we stayed in were spacious and bright, and the bedding was comfortable. The bathroom has plenty of hot water and a lot of water. Especially touched: the board is very good, the charging cable is in the hotel, the boss took the initiative to contact us, and helped to send it to the gate of the community as soon as possible, super warm heart. Highly recommended to all friends who come to Chengde, especially the Little Potala Palace! I will definitely choose here again next time!

The hotel has taken in stray cats at the entrance to its backyard, and the staff are warm and caring, which alone deserves full marks. The rooms and public areas are well-decorated, new, and exactly as pictured. The bed is very comfortable, and I personally think the quality of the decor far exceeds that of 7 Days Inn. The location is also excellent, making it convenient for ordering takeout or going out to eat and shop. There is parking and charging stations in the backyard, which is perfect for those driving. The only downside is the smell of smoke and sewer odor in the room (but you can mention it, and the staff will actively help you change rooms). If they could improve the sewer odor and differentiate between non-smoking floors, it would be perfect.

Every time I return to Chengde, I will come to a hotel, from the opening to the present, I will return to Chengde to live here. The decoration of the house is exquisite and the washing and care are also very easy to use. The most important thing is that the boss is super nice and very enthusiastic, more like an old friend.

There are several delicious barbecue and hot pot restaurants nearby; although small, the food is great! Parking is convenient; a beautiful river is just a 200-meter walk from the parking lot. This stay at the Holiday Inn Express exceeded my expectations. Before coming to Chengde, I did a lot of research, and my previous experiences at Holiday Inn Express hotels elsewhere had them feeling quite old. So, I was a bit hesitant when booking this one, but it turned out to be surprisingly good! The hotel has been recently renovated, so the facilities are very new, everything is clean, and the service is attentive. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get everywhere, and there are all sorts of restaurants, big and small, nearby, so dining is a breeze.
