Grand Hyatt Chengdu (Chunxi Road Taikoo Li)

Great location! After checking out a few places, this hotel offered the best value for money. Can't go wrong with this one. It's right by Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li, only 500 meters away.

This is the fourth hotel designed by Jaya Ibrahim that I've stayed at. Even though it's been open for a few years, the hotel's overall maintenance and service are still excellent. It's conveniently located, making it suitable for both leisure and business travelers.

Great service, and the room design was really stylish. The Club Lounge service was also very well organized. The pig trotter noodles at breakfast were delicious!

My stay at the Grand Hyatt Chengdu was fantastic! The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Chunxi Road and next to Taikoo Li. There are tons of great food options nearby, from hotpot and local snacks to trendy restaurants, making it a one-stop shop for dining and entertainment. It's incredibly convenient for getting around and shopping.

This hotel boasts excellent transport links, situated between Chunxi Road Pedestrian Street and the metro station. It's surrounded by both established eateries and trendy new spots, and a stroll to Taikoo Li is just downstairs. The front desk is on the 15th floor of Guangqun Tower. After checking in, you take the guest elevator to your room. If you're staying on the Club Floor, check-in is on the 35th floor, where you can enjoy refreshments throughout the day. There's also a fitness bar and Hotpot No. 8, making it easy to experience Chengdu's culinary delights right downstairs. The front desk staff were incredibly polite and gracious, doing their best to accommodate all requests. The check-in process was smooth, and they clearly explained all the services – very professional. The room itself isn't huge. The electric curtains open automatically, and while the room furnishings show a bit of age, everything is well-maintained, clean, and tidy. The air conditioning also works effectively. The bedding has a good bounce, and the pillows are fluffy. Since my high-floor room didn't have windows, there was a slightly stuffy smell when I first entered, especially in summer. The toilet and shower are separate, with sinks on both sides, which is convenient for sharing and doesn't disturb others. The room was very quiet at night, perfect for a peaceful sleep. Breakfast is served on the 15th floor. It can get a bit busy between 8 and 9 AM. The buffet offers a good mix of Chinese and Western dishes, with plenty of local specialties like Long Chao Shou and Dandan noodles for guests to try. Coffee and tea are brought directly to your table, and used plates are cleared promptly. The service is well-organized and efficient.

A very satisfying stay! Special thanks to Zoey at the front desk for her professional and enthusiastic service. The room was clean and elegant with a fantastic view. The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li. I'll definitely choose this place again next time.

The public areas are really beautiful, and the elevators are super fast, but some of the in-room facilities are a bit old-fashioned.

The Grand Hyatt Chengdu boasts an excellent location, with direct access to Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li right downstairs, making shopping and getting around incredibly convenient. The lobby offers elegant high-altitude views, and the front desk service is thoughtful and attentive. Guest rooms feature expansive views from their floor-to-ceiling windows, soft bedding, and great soundproofing, while the scenic bathtub creates a wonderful ambiance. The breakfast offers authentic and varied Sichuanese snacks, and the pool is clean and photogenic. Staff are quick to respond. It's a peaceful retreat amidst the bustle, with both top-notch facilities and service. Definitely my first choice for a stay in Chengdu!

We stayed for two nights in a suite at the Hyatt Regency Chengdu (the review mistakenly says Chongqing), and since we were on vacation, we really indulged in food and drinks – a big thanks to the housekeeping staff! The dining table in the suite was large and very convenient, and the staff were incredibly patient, bringing us plates and glasses whenever we needed them. The living room was also super spacious. The hotel's overall design is simple yet refined, blending modernity with comfort. Every detail showcased quality and thoughtfulness. The bedding, in particular, was exceptionally comfortable; we slept wonderfully and didn't want to leave. I've stayed in many five-star hotels, but this one definitely has the most comfortable bedding. We were on a high floor, room 3336, which offered panoramic views of the bustling city. The view was expansive during the day and dazzling at night, truly invigorating. The hotel's location is excellent, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. What's even more commendable is the hotel staff's warm and professional service; their attention to detail made us feel right at home from check-in to check-out. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Chengdu!
