Nostalgia Hotel（KuanZhai Alley ChengDu）

This hotel was one of my favourite hotels in China b/c of the staff and location. The location is perfect as its close to the metro, the Khanzai alley, People's Park, and a canal that you can run along. The staff are incredibly thoughtful, pro-active, and accommodating. They keep an eye on the laundry and make sure laundry moves from washer to dryer so that everyone gets their washing done as quickly as possible. I requested to be moved to a different room (with a fridge) and they were super accommodating in finding me a room and moving me right away. They helped me figure out my Didi ride to the Panda Research Ctr. Bonus perks are all the snacks available in your room and in the lobby. I ended up extending my stay twice here b/c I liked the hotel and Chengdu so much. The only thing I would note is that the fitness room in the pics is not the actual fitness room they have. They have an outdoor space in the back of the hotel where a bike and some weights reside - in case that's a deal breaker for some.

Good location, comfortable bed and friendly staffs.
