Hotel was amazing, however felt a little uncomfortable with the service in the restaurant because the waitresses and waiters would all gather as I trying to ask some questions, it's not rocket science, it's just a question but certain English speaking people like the chef and Shirley made it much better. The Manager refused me to take videos of the pool, executive lounge, spa or gym because ”he doesn't have the key” , really silly excuse. I'm a blogger, I understood, these facilities are at the moment not in use because of COVID however a 2 minute video wouldn't of hurt anyone and I'm free marketing for the hotel. Room was fine, few stains on the floor and wall I thought could of been sorted. But room was fine. The breakfast buffet is the best I've had in China!!!!!!

This is my first attempt at a short layover in Chengdu on a first-round flight. I really like the accommodation experience provided by this InterContinental Hotel. The service is enthusiastic. The check-in staff at the front desk (sorry I forgot their name) are gentle and courteous. The warm welcome in the lobby My sister's smile is very sweet and kind, and the housekeeper Mona's meticulous care surprised me. It is indeed a hotel that has won many awards. I will stay here next time I go to Chengdu!

Welcome fruits on the first day and free drinks from the minibar on the first night are both available. Disadvantages: Pictures 10 and 11 were taken during breakfast, so I don’t know what the situation was like with these two staff members! I took the tableware from other tables and placed it myself. I said, ”Please bring the tableware, please. Thank you.” One of the guys wearing glasses said, ”Wait a minute.” I kept waiting. The food was not brought back yet, so I had to bring it from other tables. The two of them were talking and laughing, even snickering when they saw it, and they didn't care about it! After the customer left, the service staff slowly pretended to clean up. You can carefully look at the picture of the restaurant I took. The customer didn't take it away from the table at all and just hung around there. This is why I think the service in the restaurant is poor.
