The burger and chunky chips in the pub is amazing . A nice place to spend a night for relax

Have just returned from an over night stay with my husband, we had a really lovely time. The welcome at reception was very friendly, we stayed in a junior suite which was very nice although quite pricey. I wouldn’t stay in the suite again to be honest, not sure it was worth what I paid. The bath was lovely but once you turned the jets & bubbles on it was so noisy you couldn’t relax in it. Shower was great, loved the shower head above you, there was quite a few tiles missing from the shower wall though. Lovely view from the ‘balcony’ however being on the ground floor it didn’t feel like a balcony. Would have been a lot nicer if we weren’t on the ground floor. We ordered room service for dinner, we wanted to be able to relax in pjs as we ate. This was great, food was really yummy. £4.50 tray charge was a bit much considering how much we paid for the room! However if we ate in the restaurant you’d end up tipping so balances out I suppose. Bed was very comfortable & it was very quiet, couldn’t hear other guests. The spa - We both had a full body Swedish massage, which was lovely. The ladies who gave us our trea**ents were both very friendly & definitely relaxed us. We used the jacuzzis afterwards, one of the jacuzzis didn’t seem to work so was more of a warm bath - but still lovely to sit in. The pool was absolutely freezing!! My husband went in & did a few lengths, however after dipping my toe I went back in the jacuzzi! Used the steam room, great although looked like it needed a good clean. There was a lot of plastic cups that had been discarded everywhere, no need for people to leave them lying around but also wouldn’t hurt for a member of staff to go round every now & then & check the area for things like this! Breakfast - food was excellent. Good quality of food. The coffee could have been better, I have to drink decaf so was a little disappointed to have a Nescafé decaf sachet … my husband had a lukewarm coffee from the jug. For the money I expected table service & food cooked to order. That being said the food on offer was tasty & the staff on shift were very friendly! Would definitely stay again!

Been going to this Hotel for many years, we had a lovely room overlooking the Golf Course, However very disappointed with the Bar Staff we sat for one hour waiting for a waiter to come outside to order Drinks, my wife complained at reception desk, and still didn’t get any service, short of Staff, Bar and Breakfast area needs updating.

quite a mixed stay. Great location as gold course meant there was no noise in the night. Bliss! Main room very large with comfortable bed. Although room in need of a refresh as furniture rather dated. Also Nescafe coffee satchets same as found in Premier Inn. Hardly four star. Breakfast equally average, including pre made coffee in urns. Spa area very nice, although pool decidely cool

Nice hotel and Spa Relaxing

Gym is excellently equipped with impressive range of equipment. Plenty of parking and access to outdoors swimming lake, Padel courts and golf course. Coffee in the bar isn’t great but, other than that, a lovely place to spend an afternoon…thanks all! Highly recommend!

The lunch was amazing. Antonia was the best staff. I loved the Grays Restaurant a**osphere. We look forward to stay here. Right now we only had lunch.
