"Beware! This unscrupulous, scammy place! We booked on Ctrip and were double-sold the same room! We paid for a full week's stay, but upon returning from a two-day absence, our room was forcibly occupied! This so-called "hotel," repurposed from a dilapidated country manor, is a scam operation for scamming travelers! The room was stiflingly hot, infested with mosquitoes, and lacked air conditioning. The front desk was overwhelmed with staff juggling multiple duties...and those were just minor issues! The most outrageous thing is their blatantly illegal and unscrupulous behavior! We had paid for a full week's stay! For those seven days, we had complete and 100% ownership of the room! We were away for two days to handle some matters, which is a fundamental consumer right! However, this scammer took advantage of our absence and, without any notice, contact, or notification to the Ctrip platform, rented out our paid room to another guest! When we returned to the hotel, the door wouldn't open! When we asked the front desk, they simply said, "Oh, the room has been cleaned and you've checked out." It was a complete shock! Absolutely disgusting! Even more despicable is that when I contacted the so-called "manager," he resorted to misleading and specious arguments! He conflated "negotiating modifications or cancellations before check-in" with "illegally occupying a sold room after check-in"! This is clearly an excuse for their egregious illegal behavior! This is blatant fraud! It's illegal occupation! It's maliciously reselling the same room for exorbitant profits! Not only do they trample on the fundamental rights of consumers, they are also extremely malicious and insulting to the Ctrip platform and all travelers! This rude, illegal, and dishonest behavior must be exposed and condemned! This is a lesson learned the hard way! I use my personal experience as a warning to all travelers: Never! Never! Never! Never! Never book with this shady business! It's a bomb waiting to explode at any moment! "The floor height is very short. My husband is 1.89 meters tall. He could only lower his head when he bumped into each other. It felt very depressing and I didn't sleep well. We were given room No. 6, which cost more than 1,300 yuan including breakfast. There was no standing shower in the bathroom. We could only take a shower in the bathtub with a shower head, which was very unaccustomed. I wonder if other rooms are like this?"

"My husband and I had travelled from Bristol to meet up with friends for a birthday get together. I had no knowledge of the Inn except from previous reviews we had read on the website and due to the excellent reviews we pre-booked this Inn for lunch. The pub had 2 fire places (that we could see) and only the one closest to the pub was lit which was a shame as there were only 2 tables that customers could sit at by this fire and unfortunately both were reserved. The majority of the diners had to sit in a dimly lit dinning room with unlit fireplace lacking warmth or atmosphere. It was a wet cold day and a bit of warmth would have been appreciated. My husband and our friends sat with their coats on. We all ordered the roast (3 belly pork & 1 roast beef). My roast beef was tough & chewy and the vegetables were nothing to write home about. The roast potatoes were rather hard. The veg was a mixture of boiled veg, no roast parsnips or cauliflower cheese. Cost for my roast beef was £24 and the belly pork was £22. My husband said his belly pork consisted mainly of fat. We all ordered a pudding (3 apple crumble and one sticky toffee pudding). The puddings arrived in small serving dishes. A spoon of ice cream was plopped on the top of the dish which made eating the pudding difficult as there was no room for the ice cream to mix with the pudding. You were left with a choice of eating the ice cream before you could tuck into the crumble or to try to spread the ice cream over the whole pudding to let it melt a little so you could eat a bit of apple crumble with the ice cream. The Apple was quite tart and once again in my opinion it was overpriced at £8!! My husband & I usually go to Toby Carvery in Bristol & we pay a third of the price for a wonderful roast, tender meats with all the trimmings and the most delicious roast potatoes & dauphinois potatoes you will ever eat. The waitress asked us if the food was OK, however as my friend insisted on paying for the meal as a birthday treat, I said everything was fine. The staff were friendly and the ladies toilets were bright and clean with good quality toiletries. Maybe we have been spoilt here in Bristol with an excellent pub that serves delicious roasts, but I feel that this Inn is nothing more than a bog standard pub that sadly (through its online reviews) has been dressed up to be a silk purse when it’s just a sow’s ear. It’s time to call a spade a spade, this Inn is nothing more than a standard pub but it charges high prices for bog standard (food)."

"Good breakfast, convenient parking, big bed in the room, everything is fine. We live on the 14th, far from the front desk, WiFi is too bad, almost no. The advantage is that I fell asleep after nine o'clock."
