This was a base whilst visiting family and for a budget hotel did not disappoint. Location was excellent for Manchester Airport, motorways and Chester City centre. There was a petrol station a stones throw away, a large Morrisons within walking distance (less than 5 minutes) and one or two takeaways. There was also a family friendly pub next door with great food and no noise late at night. The room was clean, spacious and with decent black out curtains. There was a hairdryer, kettle and tea and coffee in the room, and the soap and shampoo smelled amazing! There was the option to eat a hot breakfast (unsure about other meals) but we were visiting family so ate with them. Car park on site we had no issue finding a space and were never worried about the safety of our car. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing I’d say is if you need Wi-Fi for your trip it’s better to purchase the upgraded version but we just used our own data 🙂 All in all a great stay , will definitely return

Fab location near Chester. Really helpful staff. The usual super quiet rooms: breakfast was the best. Parking is odd with ANPR but way to register car. Great place for a night to visit NW or as a stopover.

A stop over on the way to North Wales. Ideal for a quick stopover with free parking. Reception staff were friendly on check in. There is a pub next door for food and drink and another about a 10 minute walk away. We had a cab into Chester about 10 mins where there were lots of different restaurants. Our room (121) was at the the far end of the hotel and was very quiet. Had a problem with the shower which went from scalding hot to cold, quite dangerous if children had been using it! Breakfast was plentiful and cooked fresh. Full English and continental. Ideal for stopover but wouldn’t want longer.

The hotel is based in a good location with access to trains and buses. However there is no lift in the hotel, so if you are on the first floor, be prepared to carry your suitcases up a flight of stairs! The bathroom was also very cramped - but this was not too much of a problem. We stayed for 3 nights and went to Chester Zoo - which was a 15 minute bus journey from a stop 2 minutes away from the hotel. The pub next door to the hotel was amazing. The food was lovely and served in generous portions. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was as expected. The Premier Inn itself wasn’t great. The overall cleanliness was spot on, but unfortunately there was an issue connecting to the wifi (we don’t live in the U.K. so we were using data roaming). Another issue was the bathroom - it was a walk in shower, but leaked through the screen, which dripped into the below room, causing their electrics to fail. In such, we were unable to shower for the next two days - we were told we would be moved - but this was not the case. Despite the issues which occurred, the staff were so, so helpful and attending in every way possible by providing us with different wifi options, assisting with the cleaning of the shower leak and programming an additional room card. Unsure as to whether we would return, but that is to no fault of the staff.

Much as you'd expect from Premier Inns. Clean and comfortable room, comfortable bed. Quit and well-managed. Staff were lovely, especially those working i the kitchen at breakfast who went out of their way to provide me with veggie sausages and soya milk.

Nice friendly helpful staff on reception. Plenty of parking spaces. Room was adequate for a short stay. Breakfast was freshly cooked and the chef catered well for the vegetarians in our party. The bed was king size and very comfortable. The shower was good and the water was hot. Everything was clean.

Stayed here for one night prior to a visit to Cheshire Oaks. Allocated room 16, up to the usual standard with amenities and very comfortable bed. Bathroom was a bit worn, chip marks on door and lock, and few marks on bathroom wall that had been missed. Shower pressure wasn’t great but water was hot. One major gripe was the noisy extractor fan in bathroom. Loud humming noise even when bathroom light turned off. Disturbed my sleep a little. Mentioned to lady on reception, and she said she would log it for repair. Breakfast was available but i decided to eat at Cheshire Oaks. Very nice pub next door with good meals and drinks at reasonable prices. Supermarket and a couple of Takeaways are around the corner. Close to Bache railway station and Hospital. Handy location for most places in the Chester area. I would recommend and stay here again.

I wanted to write this review to say that Sacha the chef was amazing and made the most delicious scrambled eggs that we’ve ever tasted out! She was super friendly and a real credit to the Premier Inn team. The hotel staff that we met during our stay were all very pleasant and keen to help resolve any problems that we experienced.

As always with Premier Inn this hotel is clean, comfortable and well position. Easy to find and access with a large onsite car park that has CCTV for peace of mind. The room was standard and clean with a very comfy bed. Staff were all very pleasant and professional. Whilst the bathroom was clean it needs a bit of TLC where water ingress has damaged the woodwork and the shower screen seal has worn away. The toilet area was very small which made it quite uncomfortable to use but was fine overall. Breakfast was in a lovely recently refurbished room which was light and well provided for. Chester Zoo is just 7 minutes drive from the hotel and easily accessible - that’s why we stayed here!
