Great location for a night in the city centre.
Basic room, no frills but clean.
Only negative was how long the wash basin and bath took to drain. There’s obviously a problem with the drainage somewhere.

Everything was perfect, but the shower was fixed to the bathroom wall and I couldn't use it by hand, which was inconvenient. However, the service and facilities were all perfect.

A warm, welcoming greeting from the receptionist. This hotel is maintained to a very high standard and spotlessly clean. It is also in a prime location. The facilities available were also very good. The only negative I have, is that a bedside lamp was broken - which is very minor, however, does need replacing. The beds were extremely comfortable, making for an excellent nights sleep. I will definitely be staying here again.

The hotel is in an amazing location and the staff were excellent. But, when I booked the room it had a picture of a small double bed. When I arrived, it turned out to be a tiny single bedroom with a single bed in it. The windows didn't open at all, and the bed was way too soft. I didn't sleep at all. I did tell the receptionist at 4.30am, and again at breakfast time. They both apologised, but did nothing about it. I just feel that £102.00 is a lot to pay for no sleep.

Stayed here for one night on Saturday 11th May with my Mum. We had two rooms. One was at the front of the hotel room 124 and the other at the back room 115. Definitely not up to the usual standard of a Macdonalds hotel. Very Central location and we stayed here as we needed central as was dining at Arkle Restaurant at the Grosvenor. Staff friendly and helpful but sadly the hotel was tired and dated and I feel the whole place just needs a lift of new decor and a good old clean. Why isn't the General Manager ensuring windows are clean, reception and lobby stair area is clean. Why are they not ensuring the corridors are clean and hoovered. Easy and simple for staff who work there. I stayed in room 124 and it was at the front, didn’t get a wink of sleep! Biggest issue was that the hotel is on ‘night club street’ so it was very noisy until the early hours of the morning and think if you’re a light sleeper then stay away from the front. It’s a shame. Breakfast was poor.

Air con was very noisy. Room was a lot smaller than shown on photos. Very dirt down the side of the toilet and mould in the bathroom
