The location is good, room was outdated and found pieces of plastic wrappers on the floor upon arrival. The food was just ok, shame the canal boat restaurant was closed when we were there. There is no soundproofing so you can hear everything from the adjacent rooms. The pool area is lovely, made some use out of the pool, jacuzzi and steam room (they also have a sauna) most staff are nice and helpful, one or two were a little rude. The room decor was very outdated and it was quite small too but it was fine for us as we were out most if the day, not shown on the website though. We went during the week of the chester races so prices were a bit high for what we got. If I was to return I'd want a nicer room in a quiet spot where you can't hear everything. Overall everything was about average for a 3 star hotel.

The hotel location was amazing, 2 minutes walk from the station, about 5 minutes to the city.Every other day we requested to have our room cleaned but all they did was change the towels and filled up the coffee bar. Never cleaned the bathroom or changed the beddings.
The room was located on the 3th floor where was not lift from the 2nd floor.
We had to deal with the cigarette smells coming from the room next to ours. Kept on complaining about but no changes.
The breakfast and dinner was good, staff was very friendly and always welcoming you with a smile.

This hotel is perfect for staying in if you want to be a 5 min walk away from the centre of Chester. Staff are super friendly and were very helpful. Parking is onsite which is ideal. Our room was a little dated and could of done with some work. But fine for sleeping for a couple of night. Breakfast was a good choice and service was great.
