Good location near the center and the train station. There is no way to keep the doors open. But in general very good

A great base for a weekend in Chester. Clean, well equipped and comfortable. The 2 bed apartment for 4 people was plenty big enough for our group.

the service apartment is clean. It is close to the city centre. The rooms are big and comfortable. The kitchen is nice. I am sure that I will book this hotel again and highly recommend to my friends.

Room was clean, it was small but we didn’t spend much time in the room and we were told when we booked that we had a small double bedroom so we were expecting it. The shower was good. Only problems we faced was the heating being on full blast despite turning the temperature to 0 on the thermostat. As the room was small it was very hot and the fan didn’t make much difference. On our last night all the plug sockets stopped working so we couldn’t use the fan or kettle, and we weren’t able to charge our phones. As it was our last night we didn’t ring to complain and we checked out early the next morning.

Overall I was disappointed with Base Serviced Apartments.
Location was great but after that I would rate everything else, apart from cleanliness, as below average and expectations.
Access was tricky; there is no proper handle, on the outer door, and the drop box system was trickier than others I have encountered.
The heating did not work.
The room, itself, was tiny with old fashioned windows so allowing noise 8n and heat out.
All in all I would not recommend.
The stairs were very steep.
