Rooms are so ordinary and in good condition. Unfortunately, the shower is only separated by a corner and the bathroom is mostly wet when doing the shower. The hall is very modern, unfortunately everything is very bright. The situation is unfortunately not good if you are usually too far on the road. I had to take a taxi/tuktuk in two days for all routes because the route 1 is relatively long and 2 is not pleasant to go. There's a lot of things that you'd save with a more central hotel. We had read that the hotel should be in a culinary area, but we have not seen it and have thus spent time in other areas day and evening.

An okay budget hotel but I have a few complaints:
- Ants in the corner of my room (they changed my room the next day)
- Bed is super hard, my back felt stiff the next day
- Hot water tank is not reliable, so water temperature tends to fluctuate
Otherwise, it's in a good area for restaurants and cafes.

The room is quite old. Compared to the price that must be paid Facilities are considered complete according to general hotel standards. But it's not from the B2 group. There's no hot water kettle, coffee making set. Most importantly, the air conditioner isn't very cool. The water in the bathroom is hot all day without turning on the water heater. But otherwise it is considered sufficient.

It was a good location and the room was huge. It was also nicely decorated in an old Thai style which made it a very ambient place to stay. However, it’s very dated and clearly hasn’t had any upgrades. The bathroom was horrible and while technically it has been cleaned, there was so much mould in the shower tiles and a huge section of the ceiling was mouldy as well. It was not pleasant to go there especially as it’s where you want to go to get clean.

The hotel has a weird lay out. The elevator reaches only from 2nd to 4th floor. We had to carry our luggage up several flights of stairs from the first floor to reach an elevator then more hauling of our luggage to the 5th floor. The hotel is located near a main road and it was noisy throughout the night. There were no electrical outlets in the bathroom. The tiles in a bathroom were broken and cleanliness was not the hotel’s priority. We stayed only one night. And we will not be staying here again in the future

Everything was great with this apartment hotel. We even booked an extra 2 weeks. They cleaned thoroughly everyday and the view was beautiful. However, upon leaving, they said the cover for the T.V remote was missing and I should pay 350 baht to replace the entire remote. I can't see how it was completely missing from the apartment. They only told us once our cab had already arrived, so we couldn't even go up and look for it ourselves. An upsetting end to an otherwise great stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Travelodge Nimman during my trip to Chiang Mai, and it exceeded my expectations in many ways.
From the moment I walked into the lobby, I was greeted by friendly staff who made the check-in process smooth and efficient. The lobby itself had a modern and welcoming atmosphere, setting the tone for the rest of my stay.
My room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploring the city.
One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's location in the vibrant Nimmanhaemin area. With its abundance of trendy cafes, restaurants, and shops, there was always something new to discover just steps away from the hotel.
The hotel also offers a delicious breakfast buffet with a variety of options to suit every palate. It was the perfect way to start each day of my stay.
Overall, I would highly recommend Travelodge Nimman to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay in Chiang Mai. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and prime location make it a top choice for travelers. I can't wait to return!

🏢 Hotel : R2 ChiangMai
Choose to stay in a cozy studio type room, decorated quite cutely. Gives a cozy feeling, looks warm and comfortable. The bed cannot be moved because it is a built-in bed. It has a cute, slightly Japanese feel. Minimal. At the end of the bed, a Smart TV (Samsung Serif TV) is set up. 1 It fits the style of the room very well. And there are also chairs and a center table where we can sit and do things.
--------------------------------------------
📍Location : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The hotel is located in the area behind Chiang Mai University. Which is considered quite good. Because it's close to both food sources. and entertainment venues, convenient travel, not too far from the city
--------------------------------------------
⚡️Facilities : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The rooms have electrical appliances such as televisions, refrigerators, and water heaters. and hair dryer For guests to use | Television as a smart TV Can connect to the internet and watch Netflix, Youtube, HBO easily.
But what I feel doesn't work well is the cleaning products, shower gel and shampoo that are provided in relatively small quantities😢
There is a musty smell inside the bathroom. You should find a diffuser to eliminate the smell in this area.

👩🏻💼Services : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The employees talk sweetly and all have smiles on their faces. If you want to ask for help, I'm always happy to help. 🥰

It is a very cost-effective hotel. Because it is newly opened, the appearance and hotel rooms are very beautiful and modern. There is also a lot of working space in the lobby and there is a cafe next to it. Unfortunately, it does not provide staple food. Apart from the fact that it is far away from the center of Chiang Mai (if you rent a car/motorcycle, there is basically no problem, and it is also convenient for visiting suburban attractions), and there are not many restaurants with English menus nearby, everything else is very good!

While this place is a little off the beaten path it is practically a brand new hotel!! Very clean and nice! Breakfast was included and very good. For value and comfort this place is the best hotel I have stayed in while visiting Thailand.

Outstanding
KKyaw Zay LinnA fantastic hotel. I love the spacious and cosy room. The hotel gives out very similar vibes as The Raffles Hotel in Singapore.
About 8-10 minutes walk from the Maya lifestyle mall.
Buffet breakfast was fantastic too! There is a selection of western and Thai breakfast delicacies.
Really love the stay here.
GGuest UserMy family could not have asked for a better experience. Toto (our butler) and Ann (the general manger) helped make our trip especially memorable. Our kids loved Toto and continue to tell his jokes. Ann keeps a keen eye on this property, always looking to improve. Only 30 rooms allows for a quaint and serene rest. The rooms are large and comfortable. Easy distance to the walled city. The 137 pillars staff ensure a seamless stay.
GGuest Useri just have a solo trip in chiangmai and i choose the core hotel is ”a home” to stay for 2 day.The hotel have an atractive decorating, the rooom is tidy, clean and spacious.Beside that, the hotel have a lovely swimming pool for you near the bar so you can relax a lot .The location is near the zoo in chiang mai ,wat doi su thep and maya shopping mall.Defitenaly come back this hotel in the future!!!
AAndyktcThis quaint hotel was rather underwhelming with the service. Upon arrival, we were ”greeted” with unwelcoming receptionist. Not that we couldn't help ourselves with my one luggage, it would have been nice if an offer to help by the receptionist/bellboy. In the end we carried the luggage to our room, up 3 flights of stairs, with the receptionist walking casually behind.
Next, we had trouble with the lock to the door. The same receptionist took our key card and tried (almost breaking it with some brute force) before it worked. One of the key catd seemed to be not working. Instead of sending the replacement key card to us, the receptionist ”instructed” us to collect from the front desk. Of which, we obliged so as not be too self-entittled. It would have been nice if it was otherwise.
One of the house keeping staff (female) was consistent in maintaining her disinterest in service. When asked about the switch for the jacuzzi in the main swimming pool, she just replied ”no, no, no”.... when my friends and i asked for the pool towel from the front desk, (yes, the towel ran out and no one was there to help), the same female staff appeared with a few towels. She really looked unhappy and always like stomped off after leaving two stacks of towels thereafter. The bext day when i asked for the shower gel and shampoo to use from the front desk (since it was not replenished during house keeping) again, the same staff brought over the small bottles of shower gel and shampoo. She just left the littles bottles in my hands and turned away... when i thank her nonetheless, she walked on without turning or any form of acknowledgement. well, i supposed she must be hvaing a hard time at the workplace. I wish her well. So i informed the manager that the staff may indeed need some help to cope.
To wrap the final day (and our less pleasant stay here), my friends witness a couple of units at our block who smoked in front of their units. One even had the ash-tray on the coffee table (similar to the one left at the designated smoking area). That left us rather puzzled that why the double standards where those guests were given the liberty to smoke in front of their units and for my friends, they had to climb 3 flights of stairs to the designated smoking area each time when they wish to smoke.
Nonetheless, the manager of the hotel did her best to address our feedback when we were checking out. Thank you for listening to us.
GGuest UserThe hotel in general is quite recommendable.
The location is good as it is inside the wall and very close to one of the main streets where you can find bike rentals, coffee, washing machines etc.
The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean and we got water bottles every day in the mini bar.
There is a swimming pool when you get into the hotel and it's okay since it's enough to refresh you from high temperatures.
The staff is friendly and recommend things to do in your stay in the city.
The room was very comfortable and the room was very comfortable.
They have breakfast available in addition to the price .
We were left after check out.
WWilmien LikwaThe hotel's location was in the heart of a very tranquil area. There are cute shops and little restaurants all around. I just didn't like the awful smell of the carpets in the hallway.
GGuest UserI was pleasantly surprised and had an exceptional experience at De Chai Oriental. I had almost booked an Airbnb and only moved last minute to a Hotel to avail of daily housekeeping and the morning breakfast. While I was weary at first, I was extremely pleased with the quality of the room, the furnishing, the housekeeping, the quaint little breakfast and most importantly the staff. Big shoutout to Khun Jam and Khun Bow at the brekafast counter every morning. They are pleasant, hospitable and extremely kind even if it’s past the brekafast hour. Also, a big thank you to Khun Nack and Khun Wahn who helped me through tours and bookings of the elephant sanctuary, guidance with taxis for Doi Suthep and assistance with late checkout due to flight delay. Apologies to anyone whose name I may have forgotten from the front desk or brekafast room! This Hotel is close to every single coffee shop, famous eatery and bars. There are ample 7/11s, rooftop bars, McDonald’s and massage parlours around. The famous Why Not Italian restaurant is bang opposite to the Hotel door. I would recommend this place at a heartbeat and hopefully return for a stay during my next visit to Chiang Mai. Best
