What a Gem!
Fantastic stay. Comfortable beds, lovely little boutique hotel. Friendly staff. We arrived earlier for check-in, they were kind enough to allow us in the room. Location was excellent, quiet. Easily accessible to the night market, bars a restaurant.

Where here for drinks! Super nice staff and great cold drinks! Will appreciate to come back! So beautiful place and immediately the staff came with fruits for us to try! When u are in chiang mai come here and have a good time! You will not be disappointed!

Lovely small traditional Thai style boutique hotel. Located close to things we wanted to see within old town walls. Very welcoming friendly host, we liked the ‘family home’ feel of the place - no shoes in rooms which is common place in Thailand. Room was very comfortable we had a balcony which was nice to sit on, air con worked well, full size fridge, everything very clean, we would have liked more storage/places to hang things - Only thing we found a bit odd was breakfast situation, the room is sold as B&B but the breakfast was self service/cook yourselves. Breakfast basics and cooking utensils provided. This was not really a huge issue (plenty of lovely local breakfast places if needed) but we think could have been made clearer in booking information/advertising.

An old traditional thai house with 7 rooms. Book only if you want the perfect place to stay in Chaing Mai. The rooms are spotless and the beds large and comfortable. The family who run it are friendly and helpful in every way. We booked the studio room which had a TV, a bathroom with a large shower and great water pressure. A couch and coffee table plus a small balcony, so a little extra space than the standard room. Breakfast is simple but complimentary, a choice of toast, eggs, yogurt, cereals, instant coffee, tea and juice. Have just toast or have all of it, we were set up for a days exploring. The location is in the old town so you walk out of your quiet alley and down the street are bars restaurants pharmacy's, **** shops and money exchanges. On Friday a market comes to the street in front of the house. As a final bonus if you need any more, it's within walking distance to several Wats including the oldest 8n Chaing Mai, Wat Chaing Man

We stayed at Eight Ratvithi between 5th and 9th September. Despite arriving quite late (11pm), we received a very clear and instructive information on how to check in. The building is well renovated and room (no 3) we stayed in is very pleasant, roomy and comfortable bedding. Self-service breakfast is a bonus, although the local market is only 5 minutes walk away, 7-Eleven is less then 2 minutes away. The hotel location is very convenient if you plan to stroll around city centre, it’s close to one of the oldest temple ever built in Chiangmai too, Wat Chiang Mun. Laundry shop is a stone throw away, 50 a kg, one day service too! Everything is at the doorstep. We really enjoyed our stay and will not hesitate to recommend this guesthouse to anyone planning to visit Chiangmai.

Warm welcome, excellent location, quiet in a lovely neighborhood. Clean room, not very large. Very few hotel amenities, it's more like being at home. Simple breakfast to prepare yourself. For me, it lacked real coffee, not instant, and fresh fruit. The manager was helpful and efficient. Good place to stay. Good value for money.
