★★★★ 9.4 (36 reviews)

"The hotel is clean and relatively quiet. There is ample parking. The hotel isn't very large, and even with many guests, the space is well-managed so it doesn't feel crowded or lacking in privacy. The breakfast is delicious and offers a set menu each day. If you didn't book a room with breakfast included, you can inform the front desk upon check-in to purchase it separately for 450 baht per person."

Hotel Mayu

Hotel Mayu

📍 6/5 M.2, Superhighway Chiang Mai-Lampang Rd, Chang Phuek, Chang Phueak, Chiang Mai
★★★ 9.2 (515 reviews)

"This hotel offers incredible value for money, five-star recommendation! Facilities: Pretty good, conveniently facing the swimming pool. Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: Located right next to Maya Mall, it's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. It's on a main road, making it very safe, yet surprisingly quiet – not as noisy as I expected. There's only an occasional motorbike sound. This was great for me as I'm a light sleeper and was quite concerned about noise, as many reviews mentioned this hotel being loud. Service: Excellent, the staff are all very enthusiastic. The biggest advantage is truly its superb location. The pictures on Ctrip make the hotel look a bit dated, but it's much better in reality – definitely not misleading."

"The balcony was very clean. The service lives up to the hotel's name. Overall, a great experience. It's about a ten-minute walk to the old town."

Mhonsa Hotel Hotels in Chiang Mai

Mhonsa Hotel

"The location of the hotel is superb, just next to the Chiang Mai Gate market. Easy to find some interesting places for shopping, eating, and massages in surrounding neighborhoods. The reception only serves until 10pm but it leaves emergency contacts for after hours. All staff seems to be local youths but they are helpful and friendly. Some drawbacks are that there is no elevator and you have to lift personal luggages if you live in upper floors. The luggage room is not locked, everyone in the building can easily access, it’s not really safe if you intend to leave your luggages for safekeeping."

Phra Singh Village Hotels in Chiang Mai

Phra Singh Village

"My stay at Phra Singh Village during this Chiang Mai trip was an incredibly pleasant experience. The hotel is situated right in the heart of the Old City, and its excellent location made it incredibly convenient for us to visit temples or night markets. What impressed me the most was the warm and friendly service from the hotel staff; they truly made us feel at home. The breakfast offered daily was diverse and delicious, and the complimentary afternoon tea added to the relaxed vacation vibe. Moreover, the quality of the in-room dining service was outstanding; if you didn't feel like going out, you could still enjoy high-quality meals in your room, which was a very thoughtful touch. Overall, everything from the environment to the soft services is exceptionally well-maintained, making for a comfortable and reassuring stay. It will definitely be my top choice for a return visit to Chiang Mai."

"The bathroom smelled like sewage. Water was dripping from the ceiling from the neighbors upstairs, and the floor was always wet. The bed linen and towels were clean. There is also a very large deposit of 1,000 baht! As they explained, it is for the box with the remote controls. This is the first time I have come across something like this, and the deposit is more than the cost of the room. They kept asking for a good review in exchange for a cocktail."

"The hotel is new and clean, the rooms are quite spacious, and the view from the windows is nice. The design has a quiet, Japanese style, and there are Michelin-starred restaurants nearby, all at very reasonable prices. There's a curry noodle shop that always has a long queue. It's about a 20-minute walk to the Nimman Road shopping district. The breakfast is excellent, and the service is friendly. If I had to suggest anything, I'd like to suggest that the hotel lobby offer complimentary coffee and tea, and that the bathrooms provide conditioner."

"This hotel offers great value for money. It's conveniently located about 15-20 minutes from the airport, and close to Maya Mall and Nimman One. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The front desk service is excellent; they even help open doors for guests. Rooms are cleaned daily. The mattress and pillows are a bit soft, which might affect sleep for some. The breakfast selection is quite extensive."
