Rimwiang Hotel

Stayed 11 nights. Room was tastefully decorated and smartly configured. Lots of storage space, desk plus vanity area, tub and shower, comfortable bed. Loved the ground floor reception/dining room - it's as beautiful as the photos. Appreciated the air-conditioned elevator. Staff are kind and helpful. Terrace on the 4th floor had views to the mountain. Location was perfect; on a quiet lane but a few minutes walk there is a 7-eleven and many delicious cafes. Room was quiet, only heard birds in the morning.

Stayed here for 3N whilst in Chiang Mai. Good location in the old city, near to plenty of good restos, bars, attractions and an excellent gym. The staff were pleasant. Room was good. I liked the design. Spacious. I'm not entirely confident about their laundry procedure though. On one occasion the bedding which was placed didn't smell fresh and new at all. I reccomend that this must be addressed through better quality control measures.

We had high expectations for Rimwiang as the reviews were universally positive - but we weren't prepared for just how good it would be for such amazing value for money. The staff were, without exception, eager to attend to any questions or needs (and made us special vegetarian options for breakfast, which we appreciated) and the room was both spacious and comfortable. The bed was amazing, the a/c fantastic and wifi super fast. Best of all, the hotel is in such a quiet street in the old city that there's simply not a sound from outside - which is blissful. The interior of the hotel is designed with such an eye for style and elegance, and so it feels rather like being in a 5-star resort rather than something that is extremely friendly on the wallet and could quite justifiably charge 2 or 3 times the amount for a room and still be good value. All-round, a complete winner and Rimwiang absolutely exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!

It locates in the old town in Chiang Mai and the architecture looks elegant and decorated. The room is comfortable, spacious and clean. The balcony is not big but nice. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Attentive breakfasts. It also provides corner for gathering and relaxation in the top floor. Excellent experiences.

New hotel finished in 2019 with clean, quiet, comfortable, spacious rooms, bathrooms, & beds. The owners Poa & Poon are extremely friendly, helpful, & accommodating. Good English. One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in (not just in Thailand). Attention to every detail well thought out. Good location in the "old square" & walking distance to good restaurants, shops, etc. 711 just a 5 minute walk. Great value!
