The hotel environment is very good, but the service is very poor. As soon as we got off the car, we were asked how many people we were in the hotel before we even stepped into the hotel door. We had to pay the deposit. I spent a few seconds looking for my ID and was urged to pay the deposit. I was so anxious. After entering the hotel, the check-in receptionist spoke very quickly and talked in one breath. I wanted to ask a question but he told me not to interrupt him. It was funny.

The resort is clean, very beautiful atmosphere with historical architecture sets by ping river and around 5mins walk to Anusarn Market.
It’s a good size resort with decent facilities you need: pool, gym & spa.
Staffs are helpful when my room door can’t be locked & can’t be repaired in time, they quickly helped us moved to another room.
The breakfast buffet is awesome.
The downside during my stay was:
the resort is a bit old need to upgrade or renovate.
Some towels are old.
There was a big group of tourists banging the door very hard, talked loudly and shouted in the hallway, balcony & restaurant like there’s no other guests in the resort .….. it was disturbing.
I expect the Anantara resort is high quality and not for group tours.

As a luxury hotel, Anantara's environment, facilities and services are excellent, and you can spend a day in the hotel to enjoy it. The only drawback is that the various consumptions in the hotel (massage/drinks/restaurants) are too expensive, and they are not competitive with the restaurants and bars nearby.
