This is a very special place. We stayed at two bedroom villa with the pool as we traveled with my two teenage boys. There are two separate villas on each side of the pool. The rooms are beautiful, in historic Thai villa’s, the decor of the resort is stunning. The lunch was fantastic, the private dinner the best Thai food we had during our travels. The breakfast you have to order the day before and it was ok. This resort is in town, So you do have traffic noise at night and it’s under a flight path, so you do hear airplanes over head at night.

The swimming pool is only 1.1 meters, which is suitable for children to play. Adults may not be able to swim seriously. There is also a gym and a small bookstore. I like the free courses provided by the hotel the most. One guest can participate in 2 free courses. We participated in meditation and making small medicine balls, which was a very pleasant experience. An extra bed can be added to the room for 2,000 baht per night, which is very economical for 3 girls. The restaurant is beautiful, I like its display, and I was super satisfied with the breakfast. There are 3 categories: Thai, egg, and Western. You can order whatever you want. Plus some small buffets can basically meet your needs. You can order meals and have afternoon tea in the restaurant on weekdays, and there is also a bar in the evening. The glass of LANA’s secret is so delicious, although the alcohol content is not high. The hotel's bathrobes, pajamas and slippers are very comfortable, so you don't need to bring your own pajamas. Environment: Although it is small, it is very impressive. After staying for 4 nights, it feels like home. There are many Koreans and Chinese guests. The plants are all just right, but it's a pity that the overall hotel is relatively small and lacks a small garden to wander around. Although it is close to Chiang Mai Airport, the impact of airplanes is not great because Chiang Mai Airport is not that busy. You can find airplanes passing by 3-4 times a day. In fact, Chiang Mai is so small that you can hear the sound of airplanes everywhere. The nearby Wumeng Temple, which can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes, cannot be missed. It is very unique. It is very close to the night market behind Chiang Mai University and Nimman Road. 15 minutes drive to Ningman Road. Therefore, transportation is still very convenient, and it will be even more convenient if you have a motorcycle. It is recommended to drive up Suthep Mountain to Shuanglong Temple to overlook Chiang Mai. The road is well built and easy to drive.

I arrived to the hotel and on the outside it looked really nice, and the staff was very nice. The girl who checked me in thow wasn't that great to understand english, so I was lucky to speak some thai. The didn't help you with your bags up to the room, but I didn't mind because I travel with good working bags that has wheels. When I came in the room the first thing that hit me was a bad smell from the toilet. (I was given a room on the top floor 608 to be precise. The size of the room was ok, but the furniture I could see how dirty and worn down rhey where. It looked like something the bought on a fleemarket. Further on I tried the bed it was the worst matress I have ever slept on, not only that the hotel is next to a road and at night it was so noicy from traffic so I didn't get much sleep. Sometimes I woke up and thought I had a motorbike in my room. I had booked a stay for 5 nights, but after 1 night I decided to move. So after one more painful night I checked out from this hotel and will NEVER return again.

Stopped here a few times, mainly because my Thai in-laws love the place, only because it is so close to the airport. Every visit something was wrong!! Not exactly the cheapest accommodation either.The toilet would not flush in one room, the taps at the bathroom sink turned with the handles in another room. We could not sleep because of the road noise (we were on the 5th floor!) in another room. The wi-fi was non-existent in one room.There was no hot water in another room. Every room the shower trays filled up with soapy water and was very slippery; dangerous in fact. The breakfast was OK for me, nothing flash. Toast, jam, juice, tea, coffee, milo, all the basics. Not real sure why people were climbing through the window to get here though. One lady I saw scraped all the brown off her toast, so that is was just white!!?? (Something to do with Thais believing that toast causes cancer I was told). Loved the sign beside the toaster that actually worked (the other one was broken on every visit and was just sitting there collecting dust). No cancer from that one! Words to this effect: ”Please do not put butter and jam on bread before placing in toaster.” At least the beer from reception 'fridge was cheaper than most shops. Nice and cold too. Gotta love it!
