We like the location and convenience with easy access to shops. Amenities a little dated. As we arrive during raining season, we have glad the hotel pick us up to and fro from Alishan terminal. The simple buffet breakfast provided was also a plus point.

The hotel is conveniently located. There is a 7-Eleven nearby, which is convenient. It is near the entrance to Alishan Amusement Park, and you can go trekking from there without taking the train. The Alishan train is expensive, so it's worth riding it once as an experience, but after that, you can go on the Sacred Tree trekking from the entrance.
The hotel is old and has a damp smell, especially in the washroom and bathroom. There is heating only in the winter, and Alishan in April was 18 degrees even during the day.
It was cold from the evening to the night, but there was no heating, so I put up with it.

The room is small, clean and tidy. The location is very good. It is very close to the 7-11 convenience store and Alishan Railway Station. You can get there within 5 minutes on foot.

It is definitely pricey at NTD5000 a night. However the location is unbeatable, service is commendable and room is clean. It has all the basic amenities like slippers, toothbrush .. etc but no fridge or kettle. So very basic and clean. For this room rate, reckon we can get a pretty decent hotel in the city but this is high up in Alishan and the hotel is a very short walk to the Alishan train station and visitor's centre. All in all, a pleasant stay. Oh, no breakfast cos it is the cherry blossom season.
