"The hotel offers a free shuttle bus service from the tourist center, and it's the closest hotel to the Mianyue Line! There are two paths right outside the hotel: one leads to the Mianyue Line entrance, and the other goes to the Giant Tree Group, which is incredibly convenient! However, the train tracks are right outside the room, and the 'ding-ding-ding' sounds early in the morning can be quite disruptive!"

The room view was absolutely beautiful~ We especially loved the room's balcony, where we could listen to the birds, gaze at the lush tea plantations, and enjoy some wine with friends while waiting for dusk to arrive – it was incredibly relaxing ❤️❤️❤️. The room was very clean, and the bed was extra large and super comfortable~ Especially the breakfast included with the stay; it was a very traditional ********* congee that made us exclaim how much we missed it! It tasted just like Grandma's cooking from childhood~ Everything was so satisfying. Thank you to everyone at 'Palms Clap' and the staff ❤️❤️❤️ We will definitely be back!"

"I extended my stay by two nights and requested an extra bed. To my shock, the area under the bed was full of trash – absolutely appalling! The entire floor under the bed was filthy. There were cobwebs on the lampshade, and since it was directly above the bed, I felt like dust was constantly falling down. Every corner of the curtains had dead bugs. It really felt like the floors hadn't been vacuumed at all, and all the dirt was just swept under the bed. The windowsills were also very dirty. The staff only changed the bed linen and left. In the evening, there was no cleaning staff available due to a shortage of personnel, so they could only do a basic sweep with a broom. The hotel's staff training seriously needs improvement. On top of that, the extra bed's mattress was so thin it was incredibly uncomfortable. The service staff also entered the room without taking off their shoes, which made the floor feel even dirtier."

"There aren't many hotel options in Alishan, and after seeing a lot of negative reviews before my trip, I was mentally prepared. Overall, the Sakura Hotel was acceptable. The facilities were basic, the bedding was quite thin, and the cleanliness was generally okay, though the curtains and windows seemed a bit dirty. Breakfast was provided with a voucher at a nearby restaurant, which was pretty good. Even though it felt more like a guesthouse than a proper hotel, especially for the price of over 1000, and the value for money wasn't great, Alishan itself is still worth visiting."

"The location is far from the bustling area, but very close to the Minxiong Meat Bun Shop on the provincial highway. There are many shops and restaurants along the entire road, some of which are open 24 hours, making it quite convenient. The surrounding area is mostly a gathering place for university students, and it is close to two well-known national universities, so it is quite lively. It is less than a 5-minute drive to the provincial highway."

"Facilities: Getting to the hotel from Chiayi Railway Station is quite convenient; the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle goes directly there. However, you'll need to drag your suitcase downhill, as the hotel entrance isn't on the main road. The hotel itself is relatively new, with a laundry room and dryer. They also provide snacks, afternoon tea, and late-night instant noodles. 👍 The swimming pool is heated, which is great! 😎 Environment: The room views are quite nice; the balcony faces the mountains and tea plantations (I think so, haha). It's beautiful in the morning. Hope this helps! Overall, it's a great hotel!"
