Great freaking Motel! For an older establishment and the location you won’t be disappointed. Coming from an individual who prefers either 4-5 Star hotels.

A weird experience where the hotel moved me from one room to another. They seemed very upset if you refused maid service.At times you felt like someone was peeping and creeping.. A very Norman Bates feel. I left because for the type of motel it is they were way too up for n your business. Creepy.

Staff was very friendly, got an upgraded room free of charge due to running a bit late for check in. Room was very nice and clean. Would definitely recommend

This property is very difficult to access if it is on the left side of the road as you approach it. With all of the crazy one-way streets surrounding it, it was challenging to find a way to get to it from the other direction. By the time we finally got there by holding up a line of honking cars while we made a U-turn, we were not in the best of moods, so our impressions were probably a bit jaded. It is a clean property that appears to have been freshly painted, but it is an old property. The furnishings are functional but dated--probably from the late '60's/early 70's. The room was very basic with no hair dryer or refrigerator, and the towels were small and thin. Internet was slow, but available. The beds were comfortable as was the temperature, and we got the impression that the owner takes care of the motel. Price was reasonable, considering its location. We had planned to stay four nights but checked out after the first night because it was farther away than we thought it would be from our son's place. That was our mistake, not the motel's. If you just need a clean place to stay, this fills the bill. Just remember that it is a budget motel, not the typical type of inn you will find along an expressway.

Clean and comfortable room. Can’t beat free parking in Chicago if you’re not into luxury.

Very reasonable and convenient to north side theaters and Evanston.

We went to a show at The Edge Theatre on Broadway. Most convenient with lots of dining options nearby, especially the Cozy Corner for breakfast. (No breakfast at motel since COVID).

Honestly I was a little shocked at how great this room was! No frills, but incredibly clean, quiet, and we felt very safe! Will rebook next time we’re there.
