During our recent stay at this hotel, we experienced a range of both positive and negative aspects. We made reservations on New Year’s Eve, marking our first visit to Chicago with my partner and friends.
While we enjoyed the overall experience, we found the hotel to be more expensive than in the downtown area. The parking fees were particularly exorbitant, and the open space parking lot raised concerns about safety. Additionally, we noticed a discrepancy between the number of towels and cups provided in the room and the number specified on our reservation. Despite promptly contacting the hotel upon arrival, we were still short of towels and cups for two days.
Despite these issues, we acknowledge that the stay itself was pleasant.

Going to the Bulls game is worrying about the trouble of driving. It's very convenient to live here, but you can't go to the United Center. It's very cost-effective. You can walk there. There are Korean dishes 10 minutes walk north, which is very appetizing. It's also very close to Chinatown.

We stayed at this property a few years back when it was a Marriott (not a Courtyard). It was much better when it was a Marriott. While there are some good things about the property, I can't overlook how poor the front desk staff is at this hotel. The front desk people seem disinterested in helping guests. The biggest issue I had with them was around breakfast. As a Bonvoy member, with a decent status level, I am supposed to have either free or discounted breakfast. I talked to two different front desk people and was told they didn't do that at this particular Courtyard. Eventually, I had to call Marriott customer service to get the benefit straightened out. I have never run into that problem at any other Marriott property. Here's the good part about the hotel. The rooms are a nice size. Ours was as clean as I would expect from Marriott. They have a shuttle that will take guests within a mile of the hotel. We used it to get rides to dinner and the subway station. All of the valet and shuttle drivers where very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was pricey but the staff there was great. Overall I'm going to look to stay at a different Marriott property on my next stay in Chicago.

Just a 5 minute walk from Rush Med Ctr. and the people there were all so lovely. We had a fortunate outcome from our testing and procedure but it was an anxious time. Our room was lovely, a little pricier than our usual but worth every penny. I had some wonderful meals at the bistro and Santos was very nice. Luis, the valet chief, was very kind to me also. But, most of all, Brenda at the front desk made me feel like family with her extra care and concern. Her positivity must have had something to do with everything going well for us!

Not a bad stay at all. I stayed here with my daughter for a couple days after being discharged from the hospital. It was quiet and comfy. The desk staff were very friendly, as well as the valet team. I will definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel.
