Location is fine. They have a bar in the ground floor. Room is quite big.

The location is very convenient, only 2 minutes away from CTA. The toilet exhaust system is not very effective, but it can be used. After we checked in, we found that the children in the next room were very noisy. The hotel communicated with the next guest in time and changed our room. Overall, the attitude of hotel staff is good.

There is no parking at the door, and there is no valet. Walk to the parking lot. 50 a night is more expensive than valet in other hotels. Generally, the two in Chicago are very poor.

The staff was excellent. The lobby was very nice. My room was the quality of an Econolodge room. I'm not sure why W would have this property cheapen their reputation. I've stayed at other W hotels and have been "blown away" at how beautiful they are. The Costa Rica location is fabulous. I will think twice and do my research before staying at another W hotel because there is a big disparity in quality.

Nice hotel with good friendly staff. The restaurant has a good break menu and a pretty happening bar in the lobby. It’s very central and has access to local transportation and restaurants/ bars. Only thing to be aware of is the Chicago train runs very close to the hotel. So if you are early /late and light sleeper you will have a problem with the noice. Can’t really blame the hotel but something for you to be aware of.

This hotel looks nice from the lobby - don’t be fooled. Everything in your room is either dated, cheap, or both. For example..,my room is currently a muggy 78 degrees. When I called the front desk for help, they said it couldn’t be helped, “that’s just how our building is constructed.” Also none of the impressive looking techno-electro-panel in the room works, or even turns on. I currently have my window wedged open a crack, using a rolled up wash cloth to Hold it up, to try to make it through the night. Do yourselves a favor, people - stay somewhere else. You can do much better at this price.
