The hotel is at a great location. It’s near to the marathon start & finish lines. Close to cinema & musical venues. Near to trains as well. Amenities is basic: no slippers, bathrobes or tea bags. We needed to borrow a kettle to boil hot water. Room was very expensive as we stayed during the marathon dates. Since we are running the marathon, we have no choice but to pay the high room charges.

Great food! Better service. Huge shoutout to Mario and staff for providing a friendly, enjoyable, accommodating a**osphere! Consumed many a beer and some delectable food to wash it down. Get the meatballs that polenta is great for a nice cold one to wash it down

Naquiri was my waitress she was so wonderful and so nice and gave the best recommendations, i had a great experience because of her, i loved my time at the restaurant the food was great, Naquiri was super attentive and so sweet to us my girlfriend loves this place after trying it, I plan to come again!!!

Kevin was great! Speedy and profesional service, will definitely be returning soon! I Have never had a poor experience here, I always love coming to the state and lake tavern at the wit. In my opinion it is far exceeding their main attraction of the rooftop.

The restaurant has some of the most friendliest staff you could ever ask for. Miguel and Kevin are very welcoming and charasmatic with their guests. Karen is excellent with the way she greets guests and gives the definition of, “Make yourselves at home.” Management is very on top and checks on guests to make sure their experience is always the best. An amazing experience!!

Location is so great. In the middle of chicago on state st. Beds are very hard and worst tp for sure. Beware of the daily charge, it isnt always true. We called and confirmed we paid the fee and they said yes so we took advantage of the discounts but it was not true and the front desk lady didnt care.
