A really great location in Chicago right across from Lincoln Park. Walking distance to the zoo, many fine restaurants and other attractions. Easy access by public transit, ride sharing, cab etc. to Michigan Ave. and downtown.

Lenny at the front desk was wonderful.

The staff was very helpful, polite and kind. While the room and bathroom were clean overall, it did appear as though it could have used some updating. No exhaust fan in the bathroom meant wall paper was peeling and fixtures in there were a bit rusty. The room was spacious, which meant it could have had fit 2 queen beds instead of 2 double beds. It also would have been nice to have a mini fridge for beverages, which there again was plenty of room for. A luggage rack for my suitcase would have been preferred as well. Positives were that the beds although too small were comfortably firm, there was a safe for belongings and staff was great. Valet parking was expensive even for Chicago standards. It was easily located across from the Lincoln park zoo, but only a few eateries were within walking distance.

Room and bed were small, bathroom was also very small with ill-fitting sliding door, no shelving or cupboards to place clothes, very rundown and in need of updating. Plaster crumbling off the walls, carpet old and thin, sockets not on both sides of bed. Work going on in elevator on/off, also boiler maintenance so without hot water for majority of our 2nd day. Rooftop bar was excellent, as were the staff which kinda made up for rest of hotel!

Location, location, location! Best hotel in Lincoln Park. Steps from the lake. But its OLD. The “lakeview room” was one tiny window with a partial view. And the bathroom is lacking a counter. Very tiny. Staff is nice though. And price is right.

In addition to the hot water going out, was quite concerning that housekeeping staff repeatedly opened our door without notice; very invasive, intrusive, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Paper thin walls, lots of noise. Front desk staff seemed unmoved by these concerns, so they must be common and go unaddressed.
