I absolutely love the ambiance of this historical hotel. There is so much do do, between the game room, delicious dining at the Cherry Circle room, several unique bars in the facility including Cindy’s rooftop bar overlooking Millennium Park. My only disappointment was paying extra to overlook Millenium Park, only to find out that the windows were blocked by the trim on the outside of the building.

We experienced a surprise- a wedding venue RIGHT ABOVE our room Saturday night. We were not advised by staff of this as we checked in. If we had any expectation of a quiet room for our Chicago trip this was not it. We were NOT looking for a discounted room. Furthermore the room had a view of a ventilation shaft only. What a joke.

I could smell the burgers from shake shack in my room in the morning 7am on the 7th floor - and throughout all hallways. It was a very strong smell.
