The rooms are super clean, and the location is right by everything, from bars, restaurants, the river walk. Also, the hotel staff was phenomenal. We need help with a friend and they assisted us without any complaints, and told us to reach out if we needed anything else.

Clean and stylish hotel. Above and beyond service! Luigi provided an exceptional experience at check in, much appreciated! Shopping is attached and very convenient location overall. Rooms are modern and well decorated. Bathroom was spotless!

Upon arrival we had a problem with the shower in our room but Maryanne (an engineer) arrived quickly. Not only did she fix the problem but she arranged for us to be moved to a much nicer room! We also want to give a big shout out to Michael and Mayra in the dining room for their concern and care after my husband had a fall on our last morning in Chicago. The Gwen is a lovely hotel, excellently situated, and the staff provide a wonderful service. Janet and Richard (New Zealand)

I would give 10 stars if I could! The service Judie & Michael provided was exceptional!! The drink & food were also top tier! The solo charcuterie board was the perfect serving size. My friends and I will certainly be back throughout the summer!

Michael Ortiz was a great server! He was awesome with service! The hotel is my favorite place to stay. I stay there at least 3 to 4 nights a month. Staff is awesome. I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to chicago! Food is excellent too!

Great bar in the Gwen lobby. Cool vibe, excellent cocktails, fantastic service. We didn't go outside, as it had rained earlier. That didn't matter. A great place to have craft cocktails. Daviel and Judie were amazing! The music was just right
