We had a quiet room at the back of the hotel. It was clean, warm, comfortable and well equipped. Nice shower too. Breakfast was great! Fresh fruit, proper yoghurt, plenty of choice for a cooked breakfast. The only disappointment was instant coffee. There really is no excuse these days. There's a short stay car park at the rear of the hotel, which is quite expensive. There's a long stay car park 2 minutes away which is a better choice. I would certainly choose the Nags Head again.

We stayed in the family room, very spacious, very good beds, clean bedding. The only criticism we would make is that the bath/shower didn’t have a shower curtain, which would even benefit the nags head owner

I checked in monday 8th and today's Wednesday 10th. On my way out I asked if its ok to get clean bedsheets and towels. To my surprise I got told they only change bedsheets, towels, replenish toilet paper after 4 days. Whats more worrying was that they seemed quite shocked I asked for my room to be cleaned after 3 days nd 2 nights

I love a really well turned out old pub and this place had it in buckets. Fantastic wooden floor, booth seating, traditional bar.....great selection of drinks! My Guiness was poured to perfection and went down so so well. The place had a fantastic buzz everyone enjoying themselves. Staff efficient and friendly.

All of the staff were so helpful. They took the time to take us to our room. Even though they could just pointed us in the right direction. Evening meal must have been one of the best. I have visited many hotels. The staff here made us more than just welcomed. If I ever come this way again I will make a point of booking in here.

We had a lovely stay here. The rooms were comfortable, clean and surprisingly quiet. We were visiting a friend so it was the perfect location. We parked on someone’s drive with using just park( 7 mins walk away)as we knew the car parks were expensive. Pub was nice and the breakfast was great. Will be returning in the new year.
