Premier Inn Chichester South (Gate Leisure Park)

Premier Inn Chichester South (Gate Leisure Park)

📍 Gate, Leisure Park, Terminus Rd, Chichester
★★★ 7.5 (48 reviews)

"We’ve stayed a few times at the Chichester Premier Inn and last week’s one night stay was just as good as previous ones. Our Premier Plus room was quiet, a good size and comfortable. Slept really well. Free parking, friendly staff and a great breakfast. Easy walk to the Festival Theatre. Excellent value for money."

Crouchers Hotel

Crouchers Hotel

📍 Birdham Road, Chichester
★★★★ 7.8 (40 reviews)

"We had a lovely lunch both opting for the roast beef which was both flavoursome and tender delicious veg and the service was both efficient and friendly. We were too full but the dessert menu was very tempting. Well worth a visit and we will be back!"

The Vestry

The Vestry

📍 Southgate, Chichester
★★★ 7.9 (47 reviews)

"very good! The waiter was very patient and kind. Breakfast is not bad."

Harbour Hotel & Spa Chichester

Harbour Hotel & Spa Chichester

📍 57 North St, Chichester
★★★★ 8.4 (103 reviews)

"Loved my stay at the hotel. Lovely room. Convenient parking. Good gym. Unfortunately the pool was out of use so worth checking before going if that’s important to you. Location is great where so many nice places in walking distance"

The Nags Head

The Nags Head

📍 3 St Pancras, Chichester
★★★ 8.5 (103 reviews)

"We stayed in the family room, very spacious, very good beds, clean bedding. The only criticism we would make is that the bath/shower didn’t have a shower curtain, which would even benefit the nags head owner "

Travelodge Chichester Central

Travelodge Chichester Central

📍 28 Chapel St, Chichester
★★★ 9.0 (45 reviews)

"Like most people, we found staff very welcoming and professional. Rooms are clean but functional. Foyer very minimal. No hairdryer in the room. Wifi free for only 30 mins, which seems rather mean in this day and age. 4g is dodgy. Paid an unbelievable £220 for a family room (no breakfast), which was all that was available and seemed extraordinarily overpriced, I wouldn't do that again. This seems like corporate capture, pared down to the bone, but they just about realise that the warmth of their staff are their best asset alongside the location. The free car parking was helpful but not especially enticing!"

Woolpack Inn

Woolpack Inn

📍 71 Fishbourne Rd W, Chichester
★★★ 8.0 (61 reviews)

"We were looking for a cheap night’s stay with breakfast and parking. (Stay in Chichester and you can pay £20 for parking overnight). Fishbourne is a short drive in and we parked at Northgate right on top of the festival theatre. The room was basic but comfortable and clean. The owner is very obliging and working hard to keep this a viable business and there is lots going on. In the morning there was a men’s breakfast club going on and it did not interfere with us having our breakfast but greatly added to the interest. The breakfast was freshly cooked and all service was very pleasant. Although the hotel is a little tired expectations need to meet cost and we felt we had very good value in a convenient location. £85 for 2 with breakfast and parking is a bargain."

Northlands Farm & Lakes

Northlands Farm & Lakes

📍 Northlands Farm and Lakes, Salthill Rd, Chichester
★★★★ 9.1 (22 reviews)

"Visited Northlands Farm 6th Dec with our granddaughter to meet Santa Claus, we were very impressed, the house was so festive with lots of decorations, trees and blow up characters. We could make reindeer food in Mrs Claus pantry, make Christmas decorations or cards with the Elves and write and post a letter to Santa and then you can meet Santa Claus who was fantastic with a shy 2 and half year old, the present that was given was great if a good quality book which u know she will love. Outside we toasted giant marshmallows and then went on a trek around the farm finding elves to spell out a secret word, we saw alpacas, deer, goats donkeys ducks and Peacocks. A very enjoyable afternoon would highly recommend it."

The Beach House

The Beach House

📍 77 Rookwood Rd, West Wittering, Chichester
★★★ 9.7 (58 reviews)

"What a great set up at The Beach House. So impressed with all the personal touches and service. we stayed with our boys over the Bank Holiday - located 20 mins walk from the beach - lovely rooms and good showers. Nice touch to have plates and cutlery for takeaway - after a long day at the beach we wanted to chill - we also enjoyed the board games. Breakfast is first class - my 9 year was delighted with a full English and nothing was too much bother for the staff - we will be back again later in the summer!"

Premier Inn Chichester South (Gate Leisure Park) ★★★
"Spent 2 nights here last week and it couldn't have been better. We had taken over most of the hotel as it was a large group booking. Chloe & Lauren treated us fantastically and couldn't have been more helpful. They went above and beyond to sort out any issues or queries we had. Breakfast was the usual fare of a freshly cooked full English or a continental buffet, I didn't dine in the evening so can't comment on this. The bar had a decent selection of beers, wines and spirits but did run out of Madris on the second night, although I think this was more to do with them not expecting to be as busy as they were on Monday night."

Crouchers Hotel ★★★★
"We held our second celebration at Crouchers last week and again the service, staff, food & venue were faultless. From initial enquiry, nothing was too much trouble. Catherine & the chef worked so hard to accommodate all our requests & individual dietary requirements. The staff during the evening could not do enough for us, even helping us load the car after with the countless decorations we bought with us."

The Nags Head ★★★
"We had a quiet room at the back of the hotel. It was clean, warm, comfortable and well equipped. Nice shower too. Breakfast was great! Fresh fruit, proper yoghurt, plenty of choice for a cooked breakfast. The only disappointment was instant coffee. There really is no excuse these days. There's a short stay car park at the rear of the hotel, which is quite expensive. There's a long stay car park 2 minutes away which is a better choice. I would certainly choose the Nags Head again."

Travelodge Chichester Central ★★★
"We booked 2 Double rooms on the 3rd floor for an overnight stay. Greeted by helpful and politereceptionist Gina who warned us that the rooms were very hot. Decor wise the rooms had recently been refurbished so no complaints. But, both rooms were like a furnace/sauna. The window could only be opened by 2cm (health and safety) and there was only 1 small cheap van which wasn't even on when we arrived and when we did put it on, it circulated warm air and did not help. We asked if there was another fan but was told no and that some rooms didn't even have one! I was more annoyed, as I had phoned customer service the previous day and asked if there was aircon and was told yes - it turned out it was only in 5 of the rooms!! I would have brought fans from home had I been told the truth. I even installed a temperature app and it was 26.9 inside! Sleeping was unbearable - so restless and broken. At 5am I realised my husband was not in bed and found him laying on the bathroom floor (which was marginally cooler) as he had got so frustrated at being unable to sleep in the bed - he said it was that or the park bench! My daughters put wet towels over themselves to try and help them sleep! We were aching and exhausted on leaving. The worst night's sleep ever. We expressed our dissatisfaction to Gina who was very sympathetic but it was out of her hands - she said she had told management many times. Goodness knows what the hotter summer months will be like?! Needless to say we will never be staying at a Travelodge again - a complete waste of money and our second day was spoiled as we were all so exhausted from lack of sleep. DO NOT STAY HERE!"

"Was awful, no actual kitchen hobbs to cook on, small and very cramped and was near enough impossible to get around the bed without causing a bad back which we suffer with anyway! Staff was banging on the door all morning and was very rude towards us and also sent an unfriendly text which wasn’t appropriate when I had messaged the day before and was so polite and asked about where we have the BBQ out of respect and got no reply !!! & especially as suffer with mental health as it is. The sofa was also dirty with stains on, the bathroom floor was broken and near enough no space to move around in the bathroom, I found it was poorly run, which was sad as the area is beautiful but it wasn’t a warm welcome and we decided to leave early due to how we was treated. The only lovely thing was the animals, they wasn’t rude."
