Crouchers Hotel

Lovely hotel very pleased with the food and the service here absolutely loved the sundowners and drinks with the DJ they had on was like being abroad fantastic would definitely come back but would definitely request a room not in the loft space

We didn't stay at the hotel, but visited for Sunday lunch. It was just lovely in every way. We had the conservatory for the 8 of us, including 3 children. The food was fantastic, probably the best roast beef i've ever had. Good sized portions, a good value set menu. The children could have a smaller version of the roast within the children's menu which was fantastic (and rare in my experience as they're usually just offered chips!), the children's yorkshire pudding was enormous and my daughter was extremely pleased! We would definitely return, I can't speak highly enough of the staff, the service and the food. Thank you.

You never bothered contacting me despite my various messages and you refused to hold my booking over as we could not guarantee getting home. I did not ask for a refund just a stay of execution. I called today and your member of staff was pretty dismissive said I should have booked direct. I think this level of customer service is deplorable in this day and age.

Amazing breakfast freshly cooked. Prosciutto, spinich and eggs on toasted sourdough. Along with fresh fruit salad, granola, cloudy fresh apple juice & freshly squeezed orange juice. Delicious Room v comfortable & cosy with lovely bathroom

The room was very musty with a strange smell, and was so uncomfortably hot at night that we needed the fan on, which in doing so made it too noisy to sleep. I’d expected air conditioning in my room as standard. To have paid £165 (without breakfast) for a night stay, I’ve left feeling tired and not relaxed.

Went here for a lunch organised by family, we had never been before. We ate in the main restaurant. We had Caesar Salads and chicken burgers. with 4 of us having the affogato for desert. Very stylish place, good service and excellent food, we will be back!

Booked a room for a couple of nights for my mother in law to stay local to us - she’s over 80 and and independent but needs a walk in shower and likes her comfort . Lovely room allocated , she’s well travelled and enjoyed the little complimentary extras in the room that many hotels have now abandoned. Very comfortably furnished lounge and bar area as well as the lovely Potager Restaurant ( see separate review) . Lovely outlook from the dining areas onto the landscaped lawn with pretty rural views beyond. Crouchers hides in plain sight on the road from Chichester to Birdham and The Witterings and has the feel of a very well run family enterprise that has put a lot of inves**ent and effort into their business . The staff were all so friendly and we were overall just very impressed .

We booked the Blenheim Garden Room for a few nights to get some much needed relaxation, the room was lovely and opened out into the garden with our patio. The team were fantastic and friendly, they were so welcoming in fact that on one of our days we stayed most of the day having drinks in the sun at the bar. We ate in the restaurant on our last evening and the food was delightful and service spot on. Would definitely visit again in the future! Thank you team, it is exactly what we needed!

Very underwhelmed in comparison to the website, we stayed in the Blenheim room, clearly we got one of the “lower end” Blenheim rooms in comparison to what’s displayed on the website. The uphostry such as chairs, carpets etc were stained and grotty, the room is very run down, the common areas too were long overdue and clean/carpet replacement. It’s certainly not a £200 a night hotel.
