Elegant historic building with modern facilities. Super comfortable bed and pillows. Excellent breakfast selections, carefully prepared and very competitively priced. Welcoming, friendly staff throughout the property.

The harbour hotel clearly cares about the details. They only had standard rooms left when we booked and we still had a coffee machine, a tea tray, comfy pillows and a few glugs of gin. This is a small hotel that somehow manages to squeeze in a restaurant, spa, gym, a number of rooms and a bar. The breakfast was great and the staff were friendly. Our room was rather hot and it’s a shame there is no air conditioning and that the window wouldn’t open more than a bit, but I assume the lack of a/c is due to the building. The fact that two fans were provided in the room was testament to the fact that that the staff were mindful of this. We would happily stay here again!

All areas fresh and clean. Room looked very recently decorated. Eco-friendly wash-room products. Approachable, polite staff. Super vegetarian breakfast.

Excellent hotel, with lovely staff. Naz at breakfast particularly charming and helpful, also the assistant server on our last day. My wife also had a great massage from Alice. Room spotlessly clean, nice decor, very comfy bed. BUT…not good hotel charges £10 per hour for late checkout. And no rate to include breakfast, continental or cooked. Hopefully, the hotel will address these points.

Perfect location in the centre of town and a very nice stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Probably the only downside was that we found the restaurant to be a bit pricey. We paid over £100 for a meal for two that didn't include any alcoholic drinks!
