初めての宿泊、露天風呂付客室・いちいの間を利用しました。 前評判どおりの源泉掛け流しの泉質は*水と呼ばれるほど心地よく、温度・景観ともに満足です。 １８０年以上の歴史ある内外ともに黒塗りの建物に立派な梁で趣があります。 ただ、部屋風呂に洗い場が無い（トイレと一緒のユニットバス）のが唯一の欠点です。 食事は夕食が２階の個室で適量で味・質ともに満足です。時期的に鮎の塩焼きが最高です。 朝食は大広間でやや少なめですが納得です。 感じの良い女将の親子と話すこともでき癒されます。

館内、手入れが行き届いていて、心地よいお宿です。ロビーにはいつでも飲めるコーヒーマシンが置かれており、数回利用しました。 部屋も広く快適でした。 お風呂のお湯は少しツルツルする美人湯です。露天風呂はぬるめで、内湯も熱すぎないので、ゆったり入れます。露天風呂の庭も手入れが行き届いていて、ユニークな蛙の置物が愉快でした。 夕食は個室で、どの品も美味しくいただきました。ご飯まできちんと食べきる事ができ、量的にも良かったです。秩父産の椎茸や、味噌ポテトなど、地元の献立も楽しめました。地酒(300cc)が1000円位からあり、気軽に飲めました。 朝食は食事処でいたただしました。バランスがとれた朝食で、鉱泉水で入れたコーヒーもいただけました。 随所に心遣いがある細かいところまで目が行き届いているお宿でした。

お湯が最高でした。露天風呂付のせせらぎの間で、窓一杯にひろがる緑を眺めながら入る露天風呂も、マッサージチェアもとても癒されました。 食事も揚げたて焼き立てのお料理が最適な温度で配膳され、味も良く大満足でした。
