Calm and spacious homestay for family. Special mention about the delicious vegetarian home food. Being homestay don't expect service like hotel/resort. Really enjoyed the stay. Price is bit at the upper end but worth it who prefer to stay away from bursting city life.

My wife and I stayed for 2 days at this beautiful small HOMESTAY. As we enter the property, the view of the Coattages is awesome, & the layout beautiful. The room was very spacious and well-kept, with a large king-size bed, clean linens and towels, a very good bathroom, and an excellent view of the Coffee Plantation. I hardly have any negative views. The owners treat guests with courtesy, they join us for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner on most occasions and we became friends in no time. The food was delicious all the days, thanks to the great Cook - Asha. (Vegetarian only at this place). Ajay and Aswini, the owners of the property are great hosts and being architects have meticulously and aesthetically designed the Resort. I strongly recommend this gem of a Homestay as one of the best places to stay.

This property is attached to the math and location in the midst of serene and in the midst of plantation.very healthy vegetarian food with various varieties for Breakfast,Lunch and Dinner with fresh coffee/tea in the morning and evening.would love to stay with the family managing the property

If you are looking for a Peaceful, Quiet, relaxing , and memorable stay in Chickmagalur with your family, Nirvana Kutira is the top choice. Thoughtfully designed, amidst acres of coffee estates and lush forests, it has a very charming, homely feel. The food is excellent. The Malnad cuisine is our favorite. With just 4 cottages, it is peaceful and serene, not the usual crowded resorts, which we love. Kudos to the hosts Ashwini and Ajay for the hospitality, cleanliness and very homely connect with the guests. The location is very convenient with easy access to all the top places of interest . We had a memorable stay and it is a home away from home. We sure will be visiting again soon , hopefully in November or December.

After some hiccups booking our stay elsewhere, we came across this homestay by chance and weren't we LUCKY! The estate is tucked away in a section of the district with several other coffee estates and is therefore clean and quiet, a true respite for travelers from larger cities. I know everyone else commented on the quality of the food and yes, Asha's cooking really is that delicious with ample variety to keep the palate enthralled. The couple who own the estate are wonderful hosts, as are some of their relatives who stay on site. They made us feel like guests in their own home, taking an interest in our curiosities and interests.

“Nirvana Kutira” - Amazing place to stay with mesmerizing beauty of nature . Had great time staying there with family. Very clean and peaceful place for vacation. Food was Awsome with lot of varieties. Owners are very friendly and accommodating. Fun place with good staycation .
