This is a very nice hotel. The breakfast is really good and the entire hotel staff is terrific. The rooms are nice and have been cleaned well. The hotel amenities are good and well maintained. I would recommend staying here for business or pleasure.

The good: Good location, lots of restaurants within walking distance or short drive. The rooms were clean, great price, and the breakfast had a good variety. The bad: The first night we were there the toilet wouldn't flush and the sink wouldnt drain, and it took a little bit of time for anyone to get up to fix it, ended up going to the bathroom after we left that morning. The kitchenette sink was gooey and discolored. The shower pressure was not very high. The AC worked, but in order to cool the whole room, the person sitting at the desk or on television couch had to freeze. There wasn't a lot of drawer storage in the room, but the closet was big. The TV auto turns off, which was annoying.

Let me just start with the people...I have yet to run into a hotel employee at this place that wasn't smiling, pleasant and happy. Jonte and Jet were at the front desk to check me in on this last visit. I've been here before but MONTHS ago but I was remembered and that made me feel special right off the bat. It's nice when you travel for business and are remembered. Rooms can be remodeled but I can tell you that the attitude of the people comes from the top, and genuinely appreciate the friendly reception here. The hotel rating of 5 stars is BECAUSE of the people. The day I checked out I got an email from Hannah letting me know they accidentally charged me the wrong rate and refunded me the difference. Honesty in business is so rare and I really appreciated her reaching out. The rooms...they are what they are for a TownePlace/Marriott property. They are mid sized, and offer the basics with a fridge, small sink and the basic kitchen essentials. They are clean, as was the bathroom, which is really what matters when you stay at hotel, right? I feel like the water pressure was lacking but with the restrictions on water usage at commercial properties I'm not sure this is the hotel's issue. Last time I stayed here I was upgraded to a suite and that room was much more spacious. Availability is the key to upgrades - and I'm OK with that. There could be better sound proofing between the hall and the rooms. I heard someone letting their door slam all night one of the nights I was there, but again - I'm hesitant to blame the hotel for the poor manners of one of their guests. The location is easy. There are a few (really good) places to eat within walking distance, and it seems like they are building more. The access to the hotel is easy so if you wanted to drive somewhere else to eat you could do so very easily. I'd say this was your basic, standard TownePlace Suites, and give it four stars for being what it is, but the people make the difference to me.

For the price of there hotel go stay somewhere else. Don’t make the same mistake as I did. The whole thing started off bad. I booked the room last minute I should’ve did more research. The venue over location changed so I did call and ask if I can change the reservation to a different date or just stay one night, but since I booked a nonrefundable room they said no which is fine. It was my mistake but what I couldn’t handle was how abrupt and rude the manager was. He was cutting me off midsentence and wouldn’t even let me ask the question. I took it for what it was expecting to at least stay in a decent hotel. Me and three Young children that I had with me arrive later in the evening around 10 o’clock at night. Check-in was easy and the gentleman working was actually really nice. We get into the room and notice right away the smell walking down the hallway into the room. You can smell the cigarettes and it was a damp stench along with the cigarette smell. I looked around the room and noticed immediately that the room was filthy. There was foil with white powder residue stuck in the vents of the AC unit along with an inch of black dust. The bed was covered in the same black dust. I looked on the floor and all you can see is white bright spots throughout the whole carpet you can tell the carpet hasn’t been cleaned at all in a very long time. The cabinet was falling apart and more of the white residue was on the nightstands as they looked like they were peeling off. The walls were dented with black marks around all the walls not just one all of them. There was food stuck in between the walls and the bed it was completely disgusting. I knew right away I was in a drug room. I went downstairs and told the gentleman and he apologized he showed me another room that was a little bit better but not by much. The second room the bed was falling apart the same smell, and the floor was absolutely disgusting it was sticky as you walk to you had to wear shoes. There were stains on the bed and the bath towels you can see right through them. There was used chewing tobacco at the end of the bed on the floor. But it was so late we had to leave early so I made the girls just go to bed so we can try to get some rest before an early morning. We didn’t have much choice at this time because it was so late. We were up all night yelling neighbors upstairs. I know this was not the hotels fault but also felt with the type of hotel I was staying in and the people above us did not make me feel safe with three younger children. We leave for the day around six in the morning and come back to the hotel around 6 in the evening and realize that the TV is not working. I go to the front desk and a young girl lady was there. I said is there anything we can do about the TV I’m sorry that I have to complain. She immediately called the manager over. Once he came over I realized it is the same guy that I spoke with over the phone. He was immediately dismissive rolled his eyes and said
