After arriving late we where welcomed by the lovely reception staff and who had made up a sandwich bag for us. We were shown to our one bed apartment with sea view. We realised our apartment was over the pool which wasn't what we asked for, I went to reception and was told it was a pool/sea view and would see the beautiful view in the meaning, as there was no rooms to change too. On being woken the next morning by the entertainment around the pool at 10am we quickly realised we were in the wrong place. We had gone on our own no children and it was definitely the wrong place for two 50+ plus Year olds. It is in the middle of nowhere and definitely need a car. Taxi from hotel to harbour was 16 euro each way or you can book a return for a cheaper option but not much difference in price. Food wasn't the best first time all inclusive and it's not for us. Felt like I was in a cattle market rushing to try and get food, food not the best and not very hot. We stopped eating in the hotel from Tuesday onwards due to hubby being sick. Not sure it was down to the hotel so didn't say anything. Definitely not a place for young couples wanting bars nearby, felt isolated. After meeting people at the airport who had stayed all inclusive in different hotels, the photos we where shown of their food we where definitely short changed. Wouldn't return but it has beautiful views and lovely staff but definitely felt it wasn't for us. Everyone is different and I'm sure they're are people who really enjoyed it, and if you want an escape and to be able to sit round the bar pool and do nothing then it's for you.

This hotel is amazing. It is by far the best all inclusive hotel we have ever stayed in. The rooms are fairly basic, have air con and everything you need. The hotel is surrounded by other hotels so isn’t the best location if you want to eat out, however the food at the hotel was unreal. Every night is a different theme and had so much choice every night. Breakfast was the same every day but again had so much choice. They even have a vegetarian corner full of options. The staff at the hotel were all lovely and polite. There were plenty of sunbeds, so there was never any pressure to get up early to get a bed. The hotel itself doesn’t have a beach however there is a cove so you can swim in the sea at the hotel. There are 2 pools and 2 bars open throughout the day. The lunch was served by the pool and again had different choices each day. There was a variety of entertainment in the evenings. There was table service for drinks in the evenings and the staff would regularly bring drinks so there was never any need to go to the bar ourselves. I would say this hotel is perfect if you want an all inclusive. It’s not in an ideal location if you want to eat out however there were buses/taxis from the hotel. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

We stayed at Akti Beach for a 10 night break in June. Overall it was a nice break and the hotel was good but there is some room for improvement. We arrived just after 11pm and were handed a lunch bag and a drinks voucher to use as we missed the main dinner service and the all inclusive service had finished for the day. The studio room we had was big with plenty of storage, the room was made over each day and fresh towels provided when needed. We had a small kitchenette including a fridge, kettle, microwave, hotplate and cooking equipment. Though if you like tea in the morning you may need to buy milk as they only had coffee cream in the room. In general the hotel was clean, family-focused and the staff friendly. For all inclusive, the food was decent with plenty of variety and had a different theme each night. We always found something to eat but if you are a fussy eater you might struggle (though there is always a pasta/chips option available). Desserts generally were not great but there was always plenty of watermelon available should you want something sweet (it would be nice to see other fruit options available at lunch and dinner). The restaurant does feel a little cramped at peak times. The drinks are self-service in the restaurant including wine, beer and a variety of soft drinks. I've seen a few reviews saying people got ill from the hotel - while we were there were absolutely fine and I think this is one of the few hotels where we haven't been ill! One of the main disappointments for us were the drinks. Not all of the drinks on the menu were included on the all inclusive and could be purchased at an additional cost. This included Aperol spritz, mai tai, pina colada etc (the good classics!). Prosecco was not included in the all inclusive list but kir royale and a peach bellini were! The cocktails you had to pay for did look far superior to the all inclusive ones. The cocktails that were included in the all inclusive were poor at best - measurements of the ingredients were eyeballed and the ingredient quality wasn't the best. The all inclusive at the bar ended at 11pm - any drinks after this could be purchased before the bar closed at midnight. I will say the bar staff were great and very attentive - they were always walking around the bar area taking orders from the tables. The entertainment was aimed at families and children (think mini-disco, magician, games night). We're in our mid-twenties with no kids so the entertainment didn't really suit us, though we did enjoy the fire dance show. The animation team were good and didn't force you to do anything if you didn't want to. Though bingo 5 times per week (€5 per ticket) got a little repetitive. There was only one bar open on a night so if you want a quiet drink there isn't really anywhere else to go. An information pack in the room said the Argo Bar (the one by the quiet pool) was open from 10:00-24:00 though we never saw it open on an evening. We never struggled to get a sun

We had an amazing stay at Akti Beach. We stayed as 2 couples for 6 nights. The rooms (we stayed in studio apartments) were clean and tidy. Cleaned, towels replaced every day. Working ac units in each room, which was very useful in the heat. The only negative is the bathrooms are slightly out of date, but clean and tidy nevertheless. Food was pretty standard for an all inclusive hotel. The dinner was a different theme every day, which made each night exiting. Overall lots of options, even chicken nuggets for picky eaters! The only thing we would improve is maybe some late night snacks, as dinner is 7-9 pm so if you eat earlier you get hungry, and there is only one vending machine with a small selection of snacks. Bar staff were lovely too. The entertainment team were amazing, especially Mr Q. Got as many people as possible involved in activities, which made the stay more fun. There are beach towels available to rent, I believe its 10€ deposit for each towel, which is refundable. You can also get tennis rackets, balls etc for a refundable deposit too. Overall, cannot blame the hotel at all! Was a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend.

We visited here in the Easter half term with another family. We were pleased with our air con room; it was spacious, very clean & housekeeping visited daily. The bathroom was dated but worked perfectly well and the shower was powerful. I liked the “village” style apartments meaning our balcony wasn’t overlooked, despite being a land view. The hotel team were friendly and helpful when needed, the entertainment team work hard, as another review commented - they seem to have little resources. The evening entertainment was ok and guests seemed to enjoy it - hotel entertainment is not my thing though. The food was hot every meal time, I actually burnt my mouth - I was surprised at the temp. There is themed nights every night which was great, i think the kitchen team work hard on variety - but it is a buffet, there is only so much variety. Our daughter was poorly whilst we were there and the team supported us with this. As others have said, it’s quite isolated, we didn’t know about the shuttle until towards the end of our trip. It is on a beach front, but not a beach - I hadn’t read this properly so was disappointed, but my own doing. I don’t like cats, so guests feeding them was frustrating for me, but that’s personal preference. I would visit here again.

Stayed at this hotel for 10 days in April and it was my first time staying in Paphos as we've always stayed at the Larnaca area previously. Firstly the hotel is quite a way out from the town and there is nothing to do on an evening outside the hotel unless you catch a bus/taxi as it is all hotel/holiday homes etc. The evening entertainment was typical of all inclusive resorts. The room we had was basic but very spacious and even had a small kitchen area. Our room was an upstairs room so we had a good size balcony. Rooms were done every day as in bins emptied and beds made. The hotel is on the sea front with a small bit of sandy area. There is a coastal path runs past the hotel which we walked to Paphos harbour taking us approx 1.5 hrs. Buses to Pahos town on the main road just up the hill from the hotel are quite frequent and only two euros or you can buy a day ticket. The hotel itself I suppose is ok. The food was a bit of a let down so I struggled a bit apart from breakfast which was the only meal I enjoyed. The good point was you didn't have to get up at stupid o clock to get a sunbed, whether that was because it was only April or not I couldn't say. All in all the holiday was ok for an in between break. I've rated it 3* because of the food. I don't think I would return because of the location

I went as a family holiday and had an amazing time, rooms were always kept really clean, variety of food that would suit anyone, staff always super friendly and helpful and couldn’t fault Mr Q and the animation team who were always friendly to us all and provided lots of entertainment through the day. If not taking part in entertainment there was plenty of sun loungers available near the pool and the sea cave.

From walking through the door to reception, the staff in every department were friendly and helpful. We stayed in the main building which was spotlessly clean all the time. Food was good with different themes for evening dinner. If there were any negatives, it was towards fellow guests. Designated smoking areas are in place, whilst some smokers adhered to the rules, other smokers felt it necessary to smoke on sunbeds with total disregard towards fellow guests. Could this be better policed by hotel staff ? However, would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to friends and family.

First of all let me say I had a really nice relaxing holiday…. Staff were attentive although not much conversation to be had with them. The exception to this was Vladimir and Anastasia who are both a credit to your staff. The hotel itself was as expected for the star rating… food was plentiful and as varied as it could be… entertainment was not the best but also as expected…. Drinks were all decent too and that included the beer The layout of the hotel and the apartments was nice… could be a few more rubbish bins about..the pools were good also… the pool at the Argo bar was really nice and quiet The room we had was large and there was also a small balcony…. Rooms a bit dated and shower was poor…. Cleaners were in every day which was nice If you’re a beach lover like me then you will be disappointed as there is really no beach at all… Would I return, then probably not. And the reason for this is solely due to lack of beach…. If happy with just a pool then I would return
