The location is great if one wants to be near the good attractions but would rather sleep in a quiet area, far from the bustling street markets, who will try to sell you everything. Situated in the heart of the city, the hotel boasts unparalleled views of both the sparkling river and the bustling city skyline. The lobby was impeccably clean, with modern decor and well-appointed furnishings creating an inviting ambiance. However, my enthusiasm waned slightly upon noticing the state of the carpeted hallway, which appeared in need of a thorough cleaning. Despite this initial impression, the cleanliness and comfort of my room quickly restored my confidence in the hotel. The spacious accommodations were meticulously maintained, offering a serene retreat from the bustling city below. The large windows provided an uninterrupted view of the river and cityscape, allowing me to enjoy the stunning scenery from the comfort of my own space. The onsite restaurant promised a western breakfast; to be honest I had my doubts but my wonderful fiancé convinced me to book the hotel with the breakfast option included, however their idea of a western breakfast was toast, overcooked eggs, stale doughnuts and the rest you’ll refer to the pictures. While the dirty carpeted hallway was a minor disappointment, it did not detract significantly from our overall enjoyment of the hotel. With its unbeatable location, comfortable rooms, and stunning views, Roosevelt remains a top choice for travelers seeking a memorable stay in the heart of the Chongching. I would gladly return for another visit, hopeful that the cleanliness of the hallway and the breakfast matches the caliber of the rest of the hotel in the future.
