You have to walk a long way to get a taxi because the driver will get lost.

And it’s cheaper than those hotels in Wanda~~ Don’t be too happy to order takeout from the hotel today~~ And there’s a bakery nearby that’s also delicious! There was a lady named Xia at the front desk who also recommended us to go to an observation deck to check in. The service was super good~~ and I personally think that the environment and cleanliness are not neglected. The main thing is to tell the truth.

Solid stay, booked two rooms. The bed was very very comfortable, great pool - even has an ice bath. Spa is new but pretty good. I will definitely at least come back for another night next time im in Chongqing. There were a lot of amenities.

Great! Originally we had a really bad hotel in another location so we decided to book here. It's pretty good. Excellent service and friendly staff, happy to help whenever they can. Great bathroom and comfortable pillows. Make sure to ask for their pillow menu, some of their other pillows are amazing. Their staff speak okay English but only basic words. Their pool also lacks poolside seats but other than that excellent. Definitely check it out. Nearest metro is Gongmao. Gym is also ”24 hours”, just make sure to ask them to turn the lights on.

However, my enthusiasm waned slightly upon noticing the state of the carpeted hallway, which appeared in need of a thorough cleaning. Despite this initial impression, the cleanliness and comfort of my room quickly restored my confidence in the hotel. The spacious accommodations were meticulously maintained, offering a serene retreat from the bustling city below. The large windows provided an uninterrupted view of the river and cityscape, allowing me to enjoy the stunning scenery from the comfort of my own space. The onsite restaurant promised a western breakfast; to be honest I had my doubts but my wonderful fiancé convinced me to book the hotel with the breakfast option included, however their idea of a western breakfast was toast, overcooked eggs, stale doughnuts and the rest you’ll refer to the pictures. While the dirty carpeted hallway was a minor disappointment, it did not detract significantly from our overall enjoyment of the hotel. With its unbeatable location, comfortable rooms, and stunning views, Roosevelt remains a top choice for travelers seeking a memorable stay in the heart of the Chongching. I would gladly return for another visit, hopeful that the cleanliness of the hallway and the breakfast matches the caliber of the rest of the hotel in the future.
