Hotel is on the 12th floor of a multi use building so can be a little difficult to find - but this is typical for most low cost China hotels. Exterior to the building isn’t welcoming but once inside the staff are very kind. Rooms are off a much higher standard than you would expect from the outside and the owner clearly cares about the accommodation. Breakfast choice is limited but more than enough for me - even as a vegetarian. Don’t expect much though. Very useful if you need to catch a bus to Dazu or other long distance bus or train.

The room is big enough, spacious, with a wide view and plenty of sunshine (when the weather is good). The facilities and equipment are in good condition, the service staff are enthusiastic, responsible and have a sense of closeness to family. The breakfast is made by the service staff and is delicious. The only drawback is that there is no small soap, which makes shaving a bit difficult. The paintings on the wall don't feel comfortable.
