Chongqing Niccolo is one of the best hotel I have been in China . The room was clean and spacious. The view was impeccable. The breakfast was 10/10. The juice is 100% freshly squeezed daily. The location of the hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city, lots of high end shopping boutiques. Overall I would give my short vacation a 10/10 and highly recommended. Nina is very friendly and welcoming. Next time I am in chongqing I will be back.

Just finished a five night stay at The Regent Chongqing, was one of the best hotel experiences ever. Arrived at the start of the national three day Duanwu Dragon Boat Festival and was warmly greeted with two tasty green bean cake pastries in a traditional wood basket as a welcome amenity in the room. Breakfast has an abundance of options, everything fresh and delicious. Ate at the third floor Chinese restaurant twice and the dishes there are truly outstanding, some of the best tasting dishes I’ve ever tasted in Sichuan province and also rated as the second best restaurant in Chongqing on this website. Compared to some of the top tier restaurants in cities like Beijing and Shanghai, also very reasonably priced and affordable. What’s really nice is the hotel offers complimentary laundry service for up to three pieces per day which I thought was a very thoughtful service. Mini bar in hotel room also completely free and restocked daily. Water pressure in room’s shower was also very strong which made showering very enjoyable. Hospitality is really on another level here. During the stay I experienced: - A small soft cloth wipe was left next to my laptop since the staff noticed my laptop screen was a bit dirty - Staff during breakfast would go out of there way to ask if I wanted or needed assistance in preparing a bowl of noodles, per my request they kindly prepared one for me with the most popular condiments used by locals - One of the chefs during breakfast made it known if there was anything at all I wanted him to specially prepare for me he would gladly do it - Same chef (Mr. Swong), when he found out I would be departing for a day trip the next morning from the hotel at a very early hour (earlier than when the hotel breakfast dining would be open) made it be known that he would make arrangements for the hotel to prepare a bag of anything I wanted from the breakfast buffet to take with me so I could eat it in the car. Sure enough, the next morning at the front desk reception there was a bag waiting for me containing various fresh fruit, a hard boiled egg, sticky rice, orange juice, banana, water, utensils. When I walked outside to the car that had arrived to pick me up, both the driver and tour guide remarked they had never seen a hotel ever do this for a guest and that this must be a really exceptional hotel. - A complimentary bowl of fresh fruit was delivered and left in my room - Upon check-out, received an immaculately wrapped gift box of Chongqing Small Noodles (dried, uncooked) which was accompanied by a specially prepared locally made peppercorn noodle sauce (wrapped in plastic), was actually the perfect gift since my Mom loves noodles and to see her face so happy and joyful upon receiving this gift brought me much happiness Everywhere in the hotel, from the hotel front desk staff, the bellboys and staff working outside the front door, the staff at the 7th floor bar, the staff at the breakfast dining, to the staff on the 3rd floor Chinese restaurant, was treated so warmly and courteously and staff so helpful and thoughtful too. Victoria was especially gracious and helpful as when I arrived, I didn’t know where to eat and after asking me a few questions with regards to my tastes and kind of ambiance I would like in a restaurant, she recommended a very popular local Chongqing Hot Pot restaurant just a few minutes away. This turned out to be great recommendation as the flavor of the hot pot was really great and the environment was more of a ‘hole in the wall’ place, very raucous and rowdy, just what I was looking for. She would also periodically check in to see if everything was going okay and if there was anything she could assist with. Will always be grateful to Victoria and the staff at Regent Chongqing for making my first trip to Chongqing so unforgettable and full of wonderful memories.

This hotel was beyond expectations. First, the hotel view is incredible and location is as central as you could ask for. There are also three bars/restaurants on the main floor (42) with exceptional views and good prices, staff is extremely helpful. Zoe, in particular, made us feel like VIP guests during our stay! The most important, though, is the service. As a foreigner it can be fairly difficult to get virus test and results. The hotel took care of everything for me, all the way down to sending someone to pick up my paper report and sending us a picture via WeChat so we didn’t need to worry about virus protection compliance. Next time in Chongqing, we will go directly back to this hotel!

Just outside Line 1, it is very convenient for eating and shopping. Opposite is Raffles City, and you can reach the riverside through the mall. The rooms are fully equipped, the mini bar is free, and the lobby bar can take a panoramic view of Raffles City. Gold card members are given welcome drink coupons every time. They were given a welcome drink coupon the last time they checked in. This is the only time I have not received a drink coupon when I stayed at any hotel under the InterContinental umbrella. In addition, the Spring Festival is so popular that I don’t even want to add an extra quilt. The front desk I called the room and it rang three times and I ran over to pick it up and then hung up.

Traveling with friends, the service matches the price perfectly, and the price-performance ratio is extremely high! The lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic. The room that we booked was very comfortable and had an amazing view. The staff contacted me one day in advance and offered great assistance and support on pre-arrival and during the stay as well. Both guys that we encountered as well as the lady were very helpful and even there was language barrier they always found a way to understand and assist us. For sure when returning to Chongqing will defiantly stay at the same place. Housekeeping service was great as well. Last but not least, the staff went above and beyond their call of duty and provided us with coffee even coffee is not in the room amenity (they have good tea) and offered a nice plate of fruits with a personal massage. Keep up the good work, thank you for having us 🌹

The river view room booked when I checked in had not been cleaned yet, so the lady at the front desk upgraded it to a family room and it was a triple room. This room is estimated to be 50 square meters, with a large bed and a small bed, a corner sofa and a round table. The bathroom is also separated into dry and wet areas. The room is very clean and the bed is very dry. Please see the pictures of the river view room. The main reason is that this hotel has very convenient transportation. One exit is by the river on the first floor, and you can reach Hongya Cave in two steps. You can take a taxi to the high-speed rail station just outside your home, but be sure to avoid the peak tourist hours in the evening. The road outside is completely unwalkable at night and is filled with cars and tourists. The other exit is in the lobby on the 22nd floor of the hotel. It takes 5 minutes to walk to Linjiangmen Subway Station on Line 2. It is very convenient no matter where you want to go. It only takes 8 minutes to walk to Jiefangbei and it is very convenient for eating and other things.

I decided to come to Chongqing for the New Year at short notice and stayed for three nights on New Year’s Eve. Environment: Very close to Hongya Cave, just go downstairs. It takes about ten minutes to walk to Jiefangbei. The footing is really good. The 22nd floor is said to be a hidden attraction, Kuixing Tower, related to a movie. I only found out after seeing many people taking photos. But there are so many people during the Spring Festival that it’s almost impossible to take any good photos. They’re all full of people. Hygiene: Overall, I am quite satisfied. There was a small problem that was quickly solved. The cleaning sister also left a note and was very attentive. At least I'm not doing things half-heartedly. Facilities: The hotel shares the elevator in the same building with several merchants, which causes a long waiting time when swiping the card. It may be because of the Spring Festival. There are also some tourists who use the elevator everywhere who are not related to the building at all. I hope this can be improved. It would be much better to add an access control. The facilities in the building are not very new, but other aspects are very good. Service: The service is enthusiastic and the response is quick. Candies and so on are also given during New Year's Eve. Overall, it is not bad. But it should be better to experience it normally. I personally prefer quiet. Members can apply for late check-out. very useful for me
