Very good hotel, with Zen-style decoration, comfortable, quiet, large room, good facilities, comfortable bedding, and very comfortable mattress. There are also **ose Bluetooth speakers, air purifiers, etc. The curtains are electric, but there are old houses outside the window, which is not interesting. There is a commercial building downstairs, and there are many restaurants.
The bathroom is divided into dry and wet areas, and it would be better if the area could be larger. The only complaint is the voice-activated switch. When I get up to go to the bathroom, all the lights in the bathroom are on.

This is a really nice hotel near the North railway station although you can stay here and easily access most places in Chongqing within 20 minutes. The staff are really accommodating with the check in process. The rooms are decorated to a 5 star hotel standard. It's easy enough to find although it's in a shared building. Just take entrance C and lift to floor 16 and you get to reception. It's also convenient for the airport. The rooms have all the amenities you would require. For the price and standard of service I would definitely stay again.

The location is very convenient. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the train station. There is a lot of food downstairs. There is hot pot in the evening. When catching the train in the morning, they sell steamed buns and porridge. There is Yonghui Supermarket next to it. The room is very clean and has disposable slippers and toiletries. It is recommended to stay here.

It is very close to the subway station and cross the road. It is more friendly for us who drag large boxes and carry a stroller. It is only 1 stop to the train station.
The room is small, but relatively clean.
It is convenient to turn on the TV.
It's good to catch the train early in the morning.
There is no breakfast, there is no breakfast shop nearby during the festival, this is not convenient, there is no suitable hot food at the train station.

The room facilities are complete and the environment is good. In particular, the two girls at the front desk are very enthusiastic. After we checked in, the door card was lost, but they were not unhappy at all. They said they would get it back and help us again. Hygiene: I reissued the door card. Staying in a hotel is for cleanliness and good service attitude. They have all these, and it is worth staying.

The hotel was initially not easy to find as we arrived at 2am in the morning and there were construction going on in front of the hotel, the receptionist was kind to come down to the street to bring us up to the hotel.
I enjoyed especially interacting with Xiaodu the Chinese version of Siri, getting Xuaodu to do certain chores like closibg the curtains, turning on aircon, etc.

Stayed in Chongqing for two days, this hotel is set the next day, the location is better, very close to the subway station, there is a snack street and many restaurants nearby downstairs, far from the downtown area, away from the train station across the road the next day is very convenient, the hotel service staff service is very good. Let’s talk about the shortcomings. The hotel facilities are old, the bath towels are all holes, the faucet is bad but the water can be out, the box of shower gel and shampoo is also bad, and there is no sign to distinguish which is which, the door lock is bad, and the door cannot be locked twice in the house. The sound insulation of the door is very poor, and it is very close to the door of the next room. In the middle of the night, someone next door opened the door at the door and it sounded like opening the door of our room. I was scared to sleep all night. I could put things on the door. It was very noisy in the morning and evening.

GGuest UserAfter experiencing the excitement of the city and the Internet celebrity feeling in Chongqing, I happened to search for Pucun! Very close to the city and the airport, Pucun made me feel why Chongqing is called a mountain city. It is really a good place to relax after the hustle and bustle! It was such a surprise. Although it was only two days and one night, the boss's design aesthetic and the B&B experience on the terraced slopes allowed us to experience many different beautiful scenery. The room is simple and has good facilities and equipment. The Dyson hair dryer is very comfortable. I like it very much. It is warm and high-end! Experience the chirping of the robin during the day, and fall asleep to the sound of frogs at night, as well as the bamboo forest among the pines. It just happened to rain in Chongqing. The clouds and mist in the mountains in the morning and the new rain in the empty mountains were very healing. Chongqing is really charming! Chongqing has 3D and is also a mountain city! The ingredients picked in Pucun are hard to come by. The plums just came out recently, so sweet! The butler was attentive and accompanying me throughout the whole process, very considerate! I like Pucun very much and will come to Pucun next time!

GGuest UserJust finished a five night stay at The Regent Chongqing, was one of the best hotel experiences ever.
Arrived at the start of the national three day Duanwu Dragon Boat Festival and was warmly greeted with two tasty green bean cake pastries in a traditional wood basket as a welcome amenity in the room.
Breakfast has an abundance of options, everything fresh and delicious.
Ate at the third floor Chinese restaurant twice and the dishes there are truly outstanding, some of the best tasting dishes I’ve ever tasted in Sichuan province and also rated as the second best restaurant in Chongqing on this website. Compared to some of the top tier restaurants in cities like Beijing and Shanghai, also very reasonably priced and affordable.
What’s really nice is the hotel offers complimentary laundry service for up to three pieces per day which I thought was a very thoughtful service. Mini bar in hotel room also completely free and restocked daily. Water pressure in room’s shower was also very strong which made showering very enjoyable.
Hospitality is really on another level here. During the stay I experienced:
- A small soft cloth wipe was left next to my laptop since the staff noticed my laptop screen was a bit dirty
- Staff during breakfast would go out of there way to ask if I wanted or needed assistance in preparing a bowl of noodles, per my request they kindly prepared one for me with the most popular condiments used by locals
- One of the chefs during breakfast made it known if there was anything at all I wanted him to specially prepare for me he would gladly do it
- Same chef (Mr. Swong), when he found out I would be departing for a day trip the next morning from the hotel at a very early hour (earlier than when the hotel breakfast dining would be open) made it be known that he would make arrangements for the hotel to prepare a bag of anything I wanted from the breakfast buffet to take with me so I could eat it in the car. Sure enough, the next morning at the front desk reception there was a bag waiting for me containing various fresh fruit, a hard boiled egg, sticky rice, orange juice, banana, water, utensils. When I walked outside to the car that had arrived to pick me up, both the driver and tour guide remarked they had never seen a hotel ever do this for a guest and that this must be a really exceptional hotel.
- A complimentary bowl of fresh fruit was delivered and left in my room
- Upon check-out, received an immaculately wrapped gift box of Chongqing Small Noodles (dried, uncooked) which was accompanied by a specially prepared locally made peppercorn noodle sauce (wrapped in plastic), was actually the perfect gift since my Mom loves noodles and to see her face so happy and joyful upon receiving this gift brought me much happiness
Everywhere in the hotel, from the hotel front desk staff, the bellboys and staff working outside the front door, the staff at the 7th floor bar, the staff at the breakfast dining, to the staff on the 3rd floor Chinese restaurant, was treated so warmly and courteously and staff so helpful and thoughtful too.
Victoria was especially gracious and helpful as when I arrived, I didn’t know where to eat and after asking me a few questions with regards to my tastes and kind of ambiance I would like in a restaurant, she recommended a very popular local Chongqing Hot Pot restaurant just a few minutes away. This turned out to be great recommendation as the flavor of the hot pot was really great and the environment was more of a ‘hole in the wall’ place, very raucous and rowdy, just what I was looking for. She would also periodically check in to see if everything was going okay and if there was anything she could assist with. Will always be grateful to Victoria and the staff at Regent Chongqing for making my first trip to Chongqing so unforgettable and full of wonderful memories.

GGuest UserLocation was great. Right next to the metro station, although the entrance is a little hard to find the first time. Very close to a lot of the main attractions. I had a river view and it was great, but a weird choice - the large window is in the bathroom. You can barely see it from the room itself, but when you're on the toilet you're on full view to the world unless you close the curtains.
However, I was pretty disappointed by this hotel. From most of the other reviews, you get the impression this is newly renovated and very clean. It's not. There's black mould all around the sink and on the wallpaper behind the sink. There's orange mould in the shower, the grout work in the shower is badly cracked and missing in places, so who knows how much leaks to the floor below. There's weird stains on the curtains. As a guy with very short hair, travelling alone, when I find several long black hairs on the floor, I know they're not mine and the place wasn't cleaned properly. They charge 30元 to use slippers, so I decided to use my socks. Bad decision. Within a day, they were the dirtiest I've ever seen socks. The projector (right above the bed) has so much dust on it, it's obviously never been cleaned since it was installed. The place is well overdue a deep clean.
But that's not even the worst of it. Fundamentally, there is no sound proofing at all in this hotel. The room door allows quite a lot of light in from outside, so obviously it's not going to be very soundproof. But this was BY FAR the loudest hotel I've ever stayed in. People getting food deliveries at gone midnight the first night, the second night was relatively quiet. The third night, starting at midnight the couple next door were ”enjoying themselves” and you could hear everything. I presume so could reception, as there was loud music coming from that direction but I didn't go out to investigate. That stopped at 12:30, and a bit later so did the music, and then at 1am, that same guy started watching TV very loudly. At 1:20 I sent a message to the ”24-hour front desk” Wechat to complain. That didn't get answered until 8:30 the next day, when I got a terse message basically saying ”well done! you handled that well.” What I'd done was at 1:35 when reception still hadn't done anything, I knocked on the door and asked him to turn it down. The next night, he was at it again - TV until 2am, but a bit quieter this time, but there was still no sleep opportunity because the room next door was watching TV until 4am. And just to make sure you can't catch up sleep in the morning, the cleaning Ayi starts banging around at 9am. Remember, you can hear absolutely everything anyone is doing in this place. The wifi is right above the bed too, and has bright lights on all the time.
Oh, and facilities. I chose this hotel over others in Chongqing because it advertised guest laundry. I asked about that - she said it was on floor 31. Well the lift that services the hotel doesn't go to floor 31, so you have to go all the way down to ground floor and catch a different lift back up again. When I got there, it seemed to be a music recording studio or something, not a hotel, and they were very surprised a hotel was sending anyone there. When I explained some more, eventually he showed me to the room with a washing machine - but it was just that - a basic washing machine, with no drying facilities, no space to dry things, and seemingly they weren't really sure if I was allowed to use it, so in the end I didn't bother and had to re-use clothes for a second day during my stay in Chongqing.
As I said, the location is great, but there are several other hotels in this building, each having a floor. Personally, I'd try any of them before this one.

Hotel is convenient to many places with walking distance and daily amenities were changed . We love the washing machine and the style which feels like an apartment homely vibes. The high storeys allow you to enjoy the view of Chongqing and mesmerised by the city charm.

DDominic EngOur 2 duplex suites are located on the 35&36 floor respectively with a great panorama view of the rivers. There's a great food court and the #5 line metro station located in the basement- making the hotel easy to reach and excellent for any kind of travelers. Hotel is walking distance to the Jiefangbei Square, the Raffles Square; and close to many local attractions and restaurants. The suites are clean and well appointed; one even included a treadmill and an exercise bike. We highly recommend the hotel for family and business travelers. We will definitely stay here again for our future Chongqing visits 👍👍👍👍👍

Lots of food just around the area and shopping too! The room itself is huge and the staff were so kind to give us a free upgrade. There’s so much space to open our luggage and lounge around. The toilet is also very clean and spacious. Not to mention the gorgeous view since the hotel is on the 46th floor - you can enjoy the beautiful night view of Chongqing from the room! Overall a very enjoyable stay! Highly recommend!!

Hotel provides daily meal coupons for redemption between 7am-8pm. Few varieties to choose (noodles either spicy or non spicy, wan ton, fried egg, mantou, soya beans drink, porridge). Of course water bottles, tea bags, toiletries are replenish daily.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Special appreciation to staff number 11 & number 3.

GGuest UserTo be honest, the price of machine room 1288 is really a bit expensive, the hotel facilities are relatively old due to the long time of decoration. The hotel's meal price is not very friendly, and the first time I saw the hotel, I could not bring my own wine and takeaway. Eating is charged by the head, drinking tea is also, to be honest, in addition to the environment is good, other really... I like this hotel very much, I will choose to stay in the future.

SSarie BottWOWOWOWOOW location could not be better! Directly across from Raffles and the horizontal hotel towr on the waterfront. Bathtub room has an incredible view. Modern, industrial design. Massive bathtub. Soft mattress. Excellent service. My only notes would be to add some towel or robe hooks in the bathroom and to give a tag for the door if you want room service or ”do not disturb”. Highly recommend. I will stay here if I ever come to Chongqing again.

Location: I personally do not like staying in central commercial areas in whichever city I decide to travel to (due to the traffic and noise), however, I still prefer to be as close as possible so as to be able to and back from the city centre without having to spend too much time and energy which would ultimately turn my holiday into a task rather than a time of relaxation -and so the location of this commercial apartment was perfect for me; 12.8km to jiefangbei 解放碑步行街 (20-30 minutes in a taxi), people’s square 重庆人民广场 (20-30 minutes in a taxi), 9km to ciqikou ancient town 磁器口古镇 (15-25 minutes in a taxi), 14.2km from the graffiti street 重庆涂鸦一条街(30-40 minutes in a taxi), 6.3km from the ronghui hot springs 融汇温泉 (15-25 minutes in a taxi). The room was also perfect for any days I did not want to go out travelling as it is a quiet, green area which is nice for walks, and in addition to that there are so many supermarkets and restaurants downstairs with anything you’d want to eat from Chongqing, and with all the daily necessities you’d need.
Room and value for money: Excellent. The room isn’t exactly luxurious, but at roughly 140 yuan per night, you get more than what you pay for. Clean, tidy, washing machine, kettle, fridge, bath towels, TV, cupboard, wardrobe, table, chairs, balcony etc. everything you need. Hot water works fine albeit the water must run for a minute or so before the water gets hot.
Service: As soon as I booked the room, I contacted the owner and she then proceeded to add my WeChat - from there on she was very attentive and replied to any message I sent her within 10 minutes and even helped me out to get the Chongqing green code when I was on the train from Shanghai. She also offered to send a cleaner to my room any time I wish if I found that my room got too messy.
Summary: Extremely satisfied, and would recommend to anyone wanting to visit the main attractions in Chongqing without having to deal with the noise and traffic of the very centre of the city, and who would like the added convenience of being able to wash your own clothes without having to wait for a dry cleaner.
