We had a wonderful stay here - the rooms were lovely, immaculate, well-furnished with many thoughtful details to ensure an excellent experience. The downstairs had a queen bed and bathroom, and upstairs was a pullout couch for our 13-year old daughter and she loved having her own space with a TV. Great location in Sumner with everything - beach, cafes, stores - in easy walking distance. Yet still v quiet and we were there on new year’s eve! Roger and Kay are fantastic hosts who saw to all our needs and a dream to work with. V reasonable rates for great accommodations, highly recommend. We’ll be back!

We enjoyed our stay . We found the service very friendly and accommodating. The facility is very clean . The units have air conditioning. This motel is situated close to most facilities. We will be back to stay here . We did the Tranz Alpine train while in Christchurch. The motel staff took us to the railway station and picked us up after the train trip . Great value here ! Wifi is slow !

The kitchen utensils are quite complete, the location of the hotel is very good, next to the Central Park, there is a large mall, Chinese service 1 km away. The room facilities are a bit old, and the bathroom shower head is long flowing.

I stayed in a two-bedroom room. The overall room was spacious and comfortable, and it was very clean. The bed was comfortable and I slept well! If I have the chance, I will stay there again. The location is also very good. You can walk to the park to enjoy the flowers.

Perfect stay at a perfect price. Rooms and linen are very clean. Hospitable and friendly service with a smile. Close to the centre and very easy walk to the CBD. Facilities are clean and there are no maintenance issues. Kitchenette is perfect for what we needed. All the sports channels on the TV and the bed was very comfy. The guide to the area that was left in the room was incredibly helpful. Very quiet too! Thank you Toscana and we look forward to coming back one day!

I stayed at the North South Holiday Park at the start of my solo NZ trip and very happy with my choice. The owner Dan picked me up from the airport ($5) and was able to transport me with my bike. I was able to check in early to my accommodation which was great as my flight came in early and I was jetlagged. I stayed two nights in an ensuite cabin which more than met my needs. There is a Burger King, Petrol station, highway inn within walking distance and a supermarket close by. When I went to set up my bike equipment the day after I arrived, I realised my tire was flat as my airline had misokaced some of my luggage I didn't have a bike pump. Dan was very accommodating and helped provide me with tools I needed for my bike. I highly recommend staying here and shall return here for the end of my journey in the south island.
