Chun＇an Hotels with Breakfast

I loved the lake view from my room, and highly recommend higher floors. The bathtub with the open view was also amazing,the beds were soft and sleek. However,I would not rate this hotel as 5 stars; the decor is quite old with its dark colours, a bit worn out wallpapers and quite old carpets in the corridor. It was very noisy with lots of families and their kids. Buliding 1 has two lifts only and you end up waiting and being squashed in a lift all the time. Coming down to breakfast restaurant was about strange as the lift takes you to the basement parking so one needs to go past the cars unless you want to walk outside the building.The breakfast was buzzing with too many people impatient to que politely. Most importantly, I really feel the front desk service needs a lot of improvement; I understand that nobody speaks English, we can use translators,but noone welcomed me properly and wished me a nice stay: my Alipay and passport only mattered. I was lucky with Xio Qian ( front desk boy) who offered to help and share the information about amenities and trips around the lake. I am very grateful to him. The gym in building 5 was a disappointment; One swimming pool is to be shared between 4 other buildings. Because it rained, the water was quite cold in the pool. Overall,this hotel would suit families and kids mainly,but i would not recommend it to single expats and certainly would not rate it as a 5 star hotel.

The room was great as was the view. The facilities that were open were clean and lovely. The pool was great and most of the staff were friendly. The boat trip from the hotel was nice, great boat, very comfortable (no toilet though so be prepared).FRONT DESK STAFF gavin SERVICE IS GREAT AND NICE.

We had an unforgettable experience at Bright Resort in Qindaohu. Everything was absolutely perfect. Spectacular views, amazing villa, delicious food and very kind staff. We enjoyed walking in the nature, the fresh air and the amazing views. We spotted big fish, eagles and aquatic birds. The breakfast and the food at the Chinese restaurant were delicious. Totally recommended for families, couples and singles.

Traveling in the off-season is a great value for money. The hotel rooms are well maintained and spacious enough. Although it's a bit out of the way, it's no problem to travel by car. It only takes 15 or 20 minutes to get to the central area. The housekeeper Sun was very enthusiastic. He cared about us until we arrived on the way, and even helped us carry our luggage. He was so considerate and made us feel good during our trip to Qiandao Lake.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful hotel. The rooms were clean and a good size and the breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. We ate Western food in the bar every evening (burgers, chips etc) and the food was great. The pool was lovely (the jacuzzi is very warm) and my daughter loved the play room in the basement. Two things to consider: firstly, the boat trip is only short and involves either a cable car ride or a steep walk (I don’t like heights, so we opted for the walk and it was pleasant but would not be suitable for the elderly or very young children). Secondly, we did not know we had to book our taxi to the station the night before we checked-out, so a member of the team eventually booked one for us, as my Didi app would not get us a car, with the hotel being so far out. Overall, a lovely place and we will definitely return soon.

The hotel is perfectly situated for the most stunning views of Qiandaohu. We paid for an executive room and it was really worth the extra money as you get access to the lounge on the 17th floor, including drinks, snacks and an evening buffet. The food in the buffet was lovely, especially the desserts and the views from the 17th floor are amazing. Service was excellent and most staff spoke very good English. We used the pool, sauna and hot bath/tub which were all nice too. We will definitely go back!

1. Wrong room allocation, no balcony, it took us more than half hour to clarify 2. Refridgerator did not work, they tried to repair but it still did not work, brought a new fridge in the next morning, we put our drinks in and went out, in the evening our drinks had been hot, the fridge was heating instead of cooling, they again changed the fridge. 3. They made the bed every day and ecchanged the towels, but did clean the glasses, coffee cups and the table. 4. A lot of Chinese TV channels, one russian, arabic, french and spanish each, but no english TV channel.

The trip to Qiandao Lake was beyond our expectations! Birthday Zhou helped us upgrade the lake view room. As soon as we opened the door, we could see the lake. It was also simply decorated. The housekeeper Yangyang also introduced it in great detail and kept answering questions at night! Aunt Tong on the floor was very enthusiastic. She replenished welcome fruits and prepared bedtime snacks! Aunt Li Keying from the buffet restaurant saw that we had children and helped us get meals and prepared small gifts! There was also Master Li, the concierge car, who was also very enthusiastic. It is very suitable for parent-child travel. There are many places for children to play. The service staff will take the initiative to say hello. It is also very happy to play for 3 days and 2 nights without leaving the hotel!

Checked in on February 23, 2024, bought a hotel package, affordable, stayed for 6 days, unfortunately these days are basically ☔️ rainy season... The receptionist is warm, the room is upgraded and clean. The restaurant is large and clean, the breakfast is a set meal, I forgot to take a photo... It is worth a thumbs up👍

we booked the standard room for 2 nights and we had payed the bill before we arrived. When checking in the staff tried to make me pay 4200rmb for security deposit which is ridiculous and double the price we had already payed for our room. I have stayed in more expensive hotels and never had to pay this much. When we wanted to eat the hotel restaurant only had one chef on duty which meant we waited 45 minutes for our first dish, which was wrong. We then had to wait even longer after for the rest and others and still didnt bring all of the right dishes. The room was clean but its a little bit of a shame they dont provide baths in all standard rooms, some of them have bath some only have shower. They advertise a terrace that isnt even open yet which is one of the reasons we booked this hotel in the first place. Overall i think the hotel isnt worth the money and i wouldnt stay there again
