The hotel price is enough high and our expectation was also higher, but the reality is different. rooms are ok, they gave us a corner room and the view wasn't so good, I booked a bit more expensive for the lake view, but got disappointed with it after my check in and they said there wasn't other choice, all were taken already. The worse thing is their swimming pool, the main one for adults were all the time very cold, the water was frozen, we asked the reason and no response. we couldn't enjoy the swimming pool during our 5 days stay. the another one for kids was too dirty, haven't cleaned it for a while obviously, already smelly like a muddy puddle. even kids were asking why the water was that dirty. The resort includes 5 huge buildings and all were full. super crowded and all the people do use the only one swimming pool and the only one breakfast area. the breakfast was OK many choices of food, but it's impossible to enjoy your meal cause the area isn't fresh or clean. the floor was sticky. I would say they need improve or they now how to make things better but they don't care. especially for summer the swimming pool is so important for every guest but they seems wanna save money and not pay attention on it. feel disgusting and unhealthy after all I saw there.

This time I went to Qiandao Lake with my family for New Year's Eve. The original plan was to stay at the Kaiyuan Resort. I saw Medea by chance and wanted to give it a try. In the end, I booked three rooms. This old luxury hotel really surprised me... The hotel was fully booked during New Year’s Eve. I thought it would be overcrowded. Surprisingly, it was well-organized and well-trained. It looked like it was fully prepared. The breakfast was also very rich and delicious... I have stayed in many good hotels, and this It is one of the few that I praise 👍👍 but I will definitely come back again. I hope the surprises will continue...

We had a great view of the lake despite the rainy weather. The children's play room was very impressive. There was hours of fun for the younger one, who visited every day of our stay. The staff were particularly kind and helpful. Kate and Huan were very helpful. They were super friendly and looked after our child well. Breakfast and dinner was extensive. There was Chinese and Western options so everyone was pleased. We would definitely stay again. Thank you to all staff for such a lovely stay.

You can also see a part of Qiandao Lake, but not much. I remember that there is an amusement park for children next to the front desk. There are many fairy tale books, and there are sand play and skateboards on the balcony. Both children like the slide very much. Very satisfied, better than many big hotel rooms and services.

Great location - short scenic drive to train station. Great spot on lake. Also close to some other Chinese restaurants etc if you want to leave the resort. Good service. Clean. Excellent amenities, extensive water activities at reasonable price - even my 2 year old gave several a go. Indoor and outdoor play facilities. Indoor and outdoor pool if you visit during summer. New kids playground being built. Volleyball pitch that doubles up as a sandpit for kids. Childrens scheduled activities everyday of the week. Little train or bikes available to go around resort. Beautiful grounds. Well placed loungers. Lots of outdoor seating at restaurants. Cheap Qiandao beer. Little hike up mountain available. Live music in evening. Not very expensive, but not very good dinner buffet. I would mark them down for the room. The room was fairly expensive for the lake view but actually it was right by a main road and all we could hear was traffic and road works when we sat out there to enjoy the view - not AT ALL what we had pictured. If you are placed in middle of hotel it would be fine, but we were very disappointed by this. We had to keep the door closed.

It was cold outside and they helped us find coats from the warehouse. We played cards in the room and gave us desserts. The photographer wore thin clothes and took pictures for us outside. We were upgraded to a lake view suite, facing the lake. Even if the weather is bad, we can see the view directly from the room. Because the view is so beautiful, we canceled our self-driving around the lake and went straight to the island for a long time to take photos and pick up the fish. Oranges and grapefruits make the whole family very happy and satisfied! Let’s talk about food and beverage: We had dinner at the hotel restaurant. The price was reasonable and the taste was delicious. The ingredients and taste were much better than those in restaurants outside! Breakfast is a set meal. You can add whatever you want. The chef is very considerate and gives us extra dishes so that we can taste the specialties. There is also a warm pot of red dates and longan tea. There is nothing to be picky about! Our next stop is Fuchun Shanju. After comparison, we found that Keren is definitely the most recommended hotel in our hearts!

We made our vacation with our 2 little girls. All things such as pools, playgrounds, meats are useful and effective for children. Especially the playground is free for the guests, very cute and enjoyable. The locations and foods was pretty good. But the outdoor swimming pool is closed at noon, it is strange for foreigners 😃 the indoor swimming pool is deeper but not so deeper than 1.5 mt, so pools are not enough for adults. Every evenings and nights, there is live music in the lobby. There are few workers who can speak English but they should be more.

We had an unforgettable experience at Bright Resort in Qindaohu. Everything was absolutely perfect. Spectacular views, amazing villa, delicious food and very kind staff. We enjoyed walking in the nature, the fresh air and the amazing views. We spotted big fish, eagles and aquatic birds. The breakfast and the food at the Chinese restaurant were delicious. Totally recommended for families, couples and singles.
